Xander hurried down the crowded hallway of SunnyDale High School. "Willow, wait up!" he called after his small friend.
"Hi" Willow said, once he had caught up with her "Um, we need to talk" she added, pulling him to the side.
"I know, I uh ..." Xander began.
"Let me talk, please" Willow said. She drew in a deep breath and started "I'm really sorry about what happened last night at the Bronze. Yes, it's true I did like you, but I don't now. I only hope we can still be friends. It was really rude of me to say that I love you like that" Willow looked up at her friend.
"Willow, I'm just sorry that I didn't realize how you felt before. I love you like a sister, your my best friend. I'm just sorry I caused you so much pain. I'm just so dense"
"I know" Xander looked at her in surprise, but her smile showed that she was just kidding.
"So we're cool?" Xander asked.
"Yeah" Willow replied. The two friends started walking.
"So, how did things go with Oz, after you two left?" Xander teased.
"Great. At least the person that I like now likes me too" she shot back.
"Hey" Xander feigned being hurt.
"Hey, guys. Are things ok, between the two of you now?" Buffy asked as she approached her two friends.
"Back to normal" Willow replied, smiling.
"Only, now Will's got a boyfriend" Xander added.
"A what?" the Slayer squealed "That's so great. Let me guess it's Oz, right?"
"Yeah" the Hacker blushed "Oh, here comes Diana" Willow added, grateful that now the attention could be taken away from her.
"Are things better with you guys now?" the brunette questioned as she approached.
"Things are fine" Xander said, swinging his arm over Diana's shoulder.
"I'm sorry if I cause you any trouble" Willow apologized to Diana.
"Nah, forget about it. Oh, I saw, Oz, I think is name is. He's been looking for you"
"And here he comes now" Buffy added.
"Um, hey!" Oz greeted Willow " Do you want me to walk you to your next class?"
"Sure" Willow replied enthusiastically. She smiled at her friends, before heading off with her beau.
"So, you guys wanna Bronze it tonight?" Buffy asked "Angel said he'd be there"
"Who's Angel?" Diana inquired "Does he go to our school?"
"Well he's kind of a vampire. He has a soul, though" she added quickly.
"Yeah, he's helped us out a few times. But he's not nearly as handsome as I am" Xander remarked.
"Don't you students have classes to get to?" Principal Snyder sneered, as he approached them.
"Oh, yeah. We should get going, get some extra study time in. Bye" Buffy quickly hurried off, not wanting to hear a lecture from their wonderful Principal.
"You could of picked better people to be friends with" Principal Snyder remarked, before he walked away.
"He's nice" Diana observed.
"Just remember, the last three letters in principal spell pal" Xander added, before they walked off to class.
