When she came to, Cordelia, of all people, was hovered over her with a worried expression. "Will? You OK?" she asked gently. Willow sat up and looked around. She was still on the floor. Buffy was propped up on the table, absently filing her nails. Oz was standing behind Cordelia, and Angel was next to him. Joyce was opposite of Cordy. "My head," she groaned, "What happened?" "You fainted," Cordy told her. Willow shut her eyes and remembered what had happened.
"I had the weirdest dream, " she told them, opening up her eyes and standing up, "You guys said I was the Slayer and that Xander was a vamp. And we were dating! And Angel and Buffy were acting like Cordy and Xander. Mrs. Summers said she was my watcher. And get this! Cordy and Oz were going out! That's it, no more Chinese before bed." Buffy looked up from her nails. "Delirious, much? Gawd Willow," she said.
"Will? What's wrong?" Cordy asked, putting a hand on the girl's shoulder, "You described real life, not some dream." Willow ran over to the library doors without saying anything and then left. The remaining people looked at each other in confusion. "I'll go see..." Cordy said as she followed Willow. She found the girl outside in the courtyard. She went over to the bench Willow was sitting at and sat beside her.
"Willow, are you OK?" she asked. Willow looked over to her. "G-d Cordelia, what is going on? Why are you acting like my best friend?" she asked. Cordy flinched. "I thought we were best friends, Will," she said, hurt by the redhead's words. "Wait. This is really messed up. I'm gonna go back to the library and tell you all something. You're gonna think I'm crazy, but can you promise to believe me?" Willow asked. Cordy nodded and the two returned back to the library.
"OK, here it goes," Willow said, sitting in the library, "I'm not the Slayer, Buffy is! I'm the computer geek. Me and Oz go out, not Oz and Cordy! She dates Xander, who, by the way, is not a vampire. Angel is. And Giles is the watcher, not Buffy's mom. I think I'm in some kind of alternative universe." She stopped and looked around. Everyone looked at her like she had three heads.
