Night has come they prepare to attack the castle.
Conner: Morgana, you might as well go get Spike and his brood now.
Morgana: We'll meet in the clearing just north of the castle.
* * *
Everyone is in the clearing when Spike, Drusilla, Morgana and several dozen
vampires arrive.
Morgana: Here is the plan. Spike your vampires will distract the majority of the
castle's defenders and the rest of us will go through the secret passage we found out
about today. Spike and Drusilla you'll come with us. We could use your skill and I
simply don't trust you enough to let you out of my sight.
Spike: You heard her, idiots get going stop standing around like a bunch of slack jawed
yokels.
Spike's vampires depart. The rest all move slowly throught the passageway that
leads deep into the castle. They all come out in a large room which is similar to
Conner's sparring floor.
Morgana: We are in the arena. Lets get going.
Unnamed: Whats your hurry?
The third disciple appears with a swarm of vampires and werewolves as the lights
turn on.
Morgana: Now that we've found you, we don't have one.
Unnamed: Bold words but since there going to be your last...why worry.
Spike: Werewolves!! I hate werewolves!!!!!
Drusilla: I love them dear, I love to pull out there little claws from there big furry paws.
I love to hear them scream when I rip off their heads.
Spike: That's my Dru.
A battle breaks out. Spike and Drusilla concentrate mainly on the werewolves who
seem terrified of Drusilla. Angel stands guard over the others who the vampires are
mainly attacking. He and Morgana are defending them. Buffy and Conner are
trying to get to the Unnamed one with a great deal of success. The unnamed one gets
up from his throne and Conner and Buffy fight him 2 on 1.
Unnamed one: You made it so far only to be killed. It's rather sad but then I am a
vampire I like sad.
Conner: I suggest you make piece with your god.
Buffy: and I suggest you get ready to die... again!
Conner and Buffy circle the unnamed one who stands in a battle stance. Conner
charges in and the unnamed one blocks his sword strikes with his hands and then
grabs his shirt collar and slames him into the ground. Buffy comes in after that and
kicks at his head. He blocks her kick and grabs her around the throat lifting her off
the ground. Conner grabs one of his fallen swords and stabs the unnamed one up
through the stomach. The unnamed one kicks him back into the wall where he falls
unconscious. He then throws Buffy back against a wall but she manages to stay
conscious. Buffy then runs up and dives down low grabs Conner's sword and starts
twisting it in his stomach. The unnamed one punches Buffy in the face and then
Buffy punches him in the face. He tries to punch her again but she drops to the floor
and flicks her wrist so that the stake she had there slipped into her hand. Buffy
stakes the unnamed one through the heart as Conner regains consciousness.
Conner: That was my kill! I better get Morgoth when he comes along.
Buffy: 10 bucks says your going to be wrong.
All the other vampires and werewolves run away demoralized by their leaders
death. All except the poor werewolf Drusilla and Spike have cornered. Only
Conner notices a vampire slowly slinking away that was right by the unnamed one
when he died. Conner casually rests his crossbow on his lap and fires it through his
heart.
Drusilla: Here piggy, piggy.
Ivander: *sound of a dog whining* ARGH!
Drusilla and Spike fall upon Ivander with murderous glee. They look back and see
everyone gone but their allies. Just then all of Spike's vampires come in.
Spike: Well well well. I do believe this is going to be one of my best days. A disciple
of Morgoth dead anything to stick a stake in his side and know the death of the slayer and
the hunter.
Buffy: Gee you betrayed us I'm so surprised. You won't win Spike your vampires are
pretty beat up from there other fight.
Spike: Kill them all but the slayer and hunter they're mine!
A battle breaks out and all of Spikes vampires are killed pretty quickly.
Spike: See I knew this would happen!! You can't get any help these days. Well they
always say don't send a vampire to suck your blood for you or something along those
lines anyway.
Spike and Drusilla attack them. Conner pushes Buffy out of the way.
Conner: This is personal it's just me and him.
Spike: Jolly good!
Morgana: I want the her. No interferences we have a couple of things to work out don't
we Drusilla.
Drusilla: Come for your punishment Miss. Edith.
Conner and Spike close and start hitting and stabbing each other. The same
happens with Morgana and Drusilla except Conner and Spike come very close to
falling over the edge of the cliff that was reveled when a large chunk in the wall was
destroyed during the first battle. Morgana moves in on Drusilla and punches her in
the stomach then trips her to the ground. Conner and Spike toppple over the edge of
the castle to the ground about 1000' below. Morgana screams NOOOOOOO! As
does Willow and Drusilla everyone else seems to shocked to have any reaction at all.
Morgana recovers and ties up Drusilla.
Buffy: Shouldn't we stake her?
Morgana: No
Willow: Shouldn't we go get his body?
Morgana: That's the valley of death only Morgoth's vampires and a few others myself
not included know the region enough to get out alive we can't get him.
They all leave, helping each other out. The next scene is Morgana wishing them all
farewell and goodbye as they go back to Sunnydale. Now they are in the library
Buffy and Giles are discussing the events that happened to put in the watchers log.
Buffy: It's too bad he died at the end there. After this disciple it was only Morgoth and
then Conner would have been reunited with Kalith.
Giles: Terribly sad yes. Now did Spike arrive before or after your sparring match with
Conner.
Willow walks into the room.
Willow: Look what I have!!
Buffy: A letter who's it from?
Willow: Conner, he's alive!!
Buffy: How did he survive that fall?!
Willow: It turns out that Spike and him really hate each other but have a kind of respect
for each other but anyways they staged the whole thing so that they could go fight after
since they both knew if Conner started to lose we would interfere and if Spike started to
lose Drusilla would. When they almost fell over that first time they noticed a ledge and
planned the fall so that they'd land on that.
Buffy: He let us think he was dead!? Over a fight!! At least he won.
Willow: Actually he didn't win. It turned out to be a draw.
Giles: How did you get that letter so fast its only been a day?
Willow: Oh Spike delivered it to my house.
Buffy and Giles: What!?!?
Willow: I admit I was a little scared at first when he showed up knocking on the glass
door. Freaked out might be better words. Anyway I opened the door he said that he
knew I wouldn't be so stupid as to invite him in but this is from Conner and he threw this
envelope in to me.
Buffy: Why would Spike do that?!
Willow: If you read the letter you would know. Since I know though I can tell you.
Since they both knew that Morgana had Drusilla captive they decided to trade Drusilla
for Spike's services so that we wouldn't worry anymore plus to make sure we realized
that Spike was back in Sunnydale so we didn't get taken unawares. It turns out Spike
guided them both through the valley since it was controlled by Morgoth and they needed
each other to get out alive.
Buffy quickly scans the letter. Giles reaches for it but Buffy pulls it away from his
grasp.
Buffy: Whoa, Willow there's some pretty deep stuff in here for you. I hope you didn't
condone this. You didn't let me see, How do I say this in a way that Giles will
understand. You didn't accept his courtship in any way did you Miss Rosenburg? Get
that Giles?
Giles: Willow you can't seriously consider a romantic relationship with this man. He's
as taken as can be if Kalith comes back and sees you to together she'll kill you! Not to
mention I really have always questioned the sanity of that entire race.
Willow: Don't worry I resisted I didn't even take anything from him honest.
Buffy: I'm glad reason hasn't left your brain.
Willow starts to leave and just then Xander walks in past Willow.
Xander: Hey Will nice locket new or something?
Buffy glances at the gold locket with a red trim on Willow's neck. Willow quickly
leaves the room with Buffy chasing after her.
Xander: Awesome!! Tag is back!!
Xander gives chase after Willow as well
