This story takes place before Angel turns evil and
feedback would be much appreciated.
Scene: Mist slowly parts over water and a woman riding a black horse with fire for
hooves and glowing red eyes rides in slightly above the water.
Kalith(woman on nightmare): Finally, I arrive on these shores. With the Master's death
I may proceed to raise the demons. First I must take care of the Slayer, the vampire who
fancies he has a soul... and the Hunter.
Buffy, Xander, Willow and Cordellia are in class
Willow: Have you guys any idea who that new guy is? He's been here a week and hasn't
spoken to anybody. He just reads during lunch.
Xander: No idea, knowing our luck he's probably a giant blood-sucking clown.
Buffy: I noticed him. He's real cute. Not so cute as An--
Xander: You know there is definitely something vampirish about him, I say follow him
out after school and *stabbing motion*
The teacher passes back the tests. Xander and Buffy are happy with their marks.
Surprisingly Willow's mark is low. Cordellia's mark is also low.
Willow: Guys, I think I'll stay after school and see if I can do anything about this mark.
Bell Rings
Buffy: Well, alright. See you later in the library. Remember Giles wanted to see us.
Xander: Yeah. See ya Willow. I--
Cordelia: I think I'll tag along with you Willow.
Willow: Strength in numbers, I suppose.
Class files out. The girls approach the teacher at his desk. He looks up and notices
them
Teacher: I was very disappointed with your marks on the test.
Cordelia: That is what we came to talk to you about. Is there anything we can do to
improve them?
Teacher: Actually and I don't usually do this, mind you, but if you help me out with the
Student Welcome Committee I'll let you both retake the test.
Willow: Sounds good. What do you need us to do?
Teacher: Later on you'll have to setup a newcomers dance. Right now if after last
period you could find Conner, that new student, and give him a tour of the school.
Willow: Yeah sure. He's in my last class.
Cordelia: Okay, fine by me. I think he's pretty cute. It will be my pleasure. I need a
new lackey.

End of school bell rings
Willow: Conner just left he went that way lets go.(Willow points to the left)
Cordelia: Man, that class was boring. Anyway, yeah, lets go.
Willow and Cordellia get out of class to see Conner going out the door and go after
him. Finding him gone
Willow: Hey, he pulled a disappearing act. Too strange.
Cordelia: Or normal for you guys.
Willow: Yeah, well, I'll talk to Mr. Edwards day after tomorrow. He's on a field trip till
then.
Willow hurries to library for the meeting.
Buffy: Hey, Willow how did it go with Conner? I overheard what Mr. Edwards said.
Willow: I don't know. I couldn't find him after school.
Giles: Please. That's the last of our worries according to this a new vampire will be
arriving on these shores very soon. This new vampire's powers will rival if not exceed
those of the masters.
Buffy: Interesting,... yet typical
Giles: Well, according to this he was only a disciple of someone far more powerful than
himself named Morgoth. There are apparently three disciples this new vampire is the
second and the first and most powerful has yet to be revealed.
Buffy: Wait a second here if I'm following your saying that this new vampire is even
more powerful than the Master?
Giles: Probably, and to add to the bad news, she will be accompanied with her elite
guard. These vampires are twice, probably even three times more powerful than normal
vampires. The Master's guard was smaller and it was “The Three” that attacked you.
Xander: I hear Hawaii is great this time of year in fact so is everywhere but here! Well I
suppose its back to whittling for me. Row Row Row your boat gently down the stream
merrily life is like a dream. Not!
Giles: I'll see what I can find out tonight. Tomorrow we'll meet here again after school.
Buffy, Xander and Willow coming back from the bronze.
Buffy: That was fun but I wonder where Angel was?
Xander: Oh, probably doing various undead things you know raiding the hospital for
blood instead of sucking some guy dr--.
Willow screams and points to four vampires attacking them.
Buffy: Behind me, now!
Buffy kicks one vampire and sends him flying to the ground about five feet away.
The other three attack her. She backhands one away but the other two get in under
her guard. One using his nails slashes, her leaving her, leaving her with a five inch
long slash along her arm. Buffy falls to the ground and the two leap at her, but
disappear in mid air as two wooden daggers pierce their hearts and the cry
Maaaaaaaason! is heard as a cloaked figure springs out of the darkness neatly
cutting off one of the vampires heads with a Katana. Buffy springs to her feet, dives
and rolls, grabbing the stake she dropped and throws it into the vampires heart, he
turns to dust. Buffy leans over and picks up the daggers as Angel arrives.
Angel: What happened!?
Buffy: No hello? Just what happened? These vampires attacked us, and this guy came
and threw these two wooden daggers and then cut off th--
Angel: Wooden daggers!? Let me see them.
Buffy gives Angel the daggers he drops them because they burn his hands, the hilts
are actually carved crosses.
Angel: Did this person say anything when he came!!?
Willow: Mason, or something
Angel growls and goes into a defensive crouch.
Angel: I have to go. I may not be able to talk to you for a few days.
Xander: Buffy, who were those guys? They seemed stronger than the oth--Gone! Why?
Angel: It's just something from back in Ireland. Listen I really have to go. Bye!
Angel runs off into the darkness as Buffy, Xander and Willow stare around blankly.
A scream shatters the silence and Buffy, Xander and Willow rush off to find its
source. They arrive to see Cordellia standing over the ashes of a vampire.
Buffy: What happened?
Cordelia: This guy jumped me. Next thing I know I hear this cry, Mason and then he's
lying on the ground dead(pointing to the ashes of the vampire on the ground) from well
you can see.
Xander: Did you see what he looked like?
Cordelia: No.
Willow: Come on. I'll walk you home.
Xander: I might as well come. See you tomorrow after school in the library
Buffy: Or just at school.
Xander: Good point.
The next day after school.
Giles: Willow, when I said that new boy you couldn't find wasn't important well I might
have been a little off--
Everyone looks up to see Conner standing on the upper level of the library. He
hisses and bears vampire fangs. Buffy grabs a stake off the table and hurls it at
Conner. Conner flips off the upper level grabbing the stake as he does so. When he
lands he spits out the plastic vampire teeth.
Conner: That could have killed me! What were you thinking its the middle of the day
and I was in direct sunlight! No questions not even a witty little comment it's just throw
a stake at my heart. Weren't you the least bit curious about how I was out during the day.
Buffy: Well what is the idea about impersonating vampires? How do you even know
about vampires!?
Conner: I'm the--
Giles: He's the hunter
Xander: hunter of what?
Conner: Vampires, Demons and the forces of darkness that sort of thing.
Buffy: That is got to be some kind of infringement on me that is just a couple different
words to my job description and there is only one slayer.
Conner: I'm no slayer I would hate to be stuck with that job!
Willow: Why are you here?
Conner: To help, among other things.
Buffy: Such as?
Conner: My business is no ones but my own.
Giles: You're here because of Kalith aren't you?
Conner: Well she is a vampire and trust me slayer you're going to need all the help you
can get with her.
Buffy: We'll see, and the names Buffy.
Conner: There is a vampire whose soul was returned to him do you know of him?
Willow is about to tell him about Angel but Buffy kicks her in the leg.
Buffy: No, why did you want to know? It sounds really weird?
Conner: He is mentioned in many books on vampire lore and is also mentioned
prominently in the prophesy. He's supposed to be a big help to us two.
Buffy: I'll keep an eye out for him.
Willow: That was you who saved Cordellia and helped Buffy last night wasn't it?
Giles: What this? You ran in to some vampires last night?
Buffy: Yes, they had these really weird clothes on and they were tougher than normal.
Conner: They are the elite guard of Kalith there are only twenty they also serve as her
personal assassins.
Xander: Only twenty! Those four nearly killed us. And how long were you there for!?
Conner: Yes, well I sort of saw them before they attacked you.
Willow: Were was the help earlier then.
Conner: I need to see how far the slayers training had advanced as well as I surprised
the vampires and it would have been one hell of a tough fight if I hadn't.
Giles: Sound strategy, has the time come will Morgoth advance with his army?
Buffy, Xander and Willow give Giles a hard look.
Conner: The time is near after Kalith the problem of the first disciple still remains. I
brought a copy of the prophesy with me for you.
Conner reaches into a pocket and pulls out a scroll and hands it Giles.
Giles: Excellent this will make things somewhat easier in the future.
Conner: I have to leave, but Buffy just out of curiosity... how many vampires have you
killed?
Willow: Gross you keep count that is disgusting like Buffy would do a thing like th--
Buffy leans over and whispers something in Conner's ear.
Conner: Nice job well I'll see you around. That's my count as well you know I'll have
to see if I can get ahead.
Conner walks out of the library and leaves the school.
Willow: How can you keep count?!
Xander: Did you count the master as more than one you can be honest with me its a
common thing for slayers too cheat a little on their head count of vampires?
Willow: How can you keep count?! Why didn't you tell him about Angel?
Buffy: Well Angel seemed a little freaked out last night about the Hunter so I want to
ask him about it first.
Giles: I'm going to consult the prophesy now so Buffy, patrol or something(Giles said in
a distracted voice staring at the scroll)
Everybody but Giles leaves.
* * *
Angel is sitting at a table in a shadowy corner in the bronze as Conner walks in.
Conner stares intently at Angel and then starts walking towards him, as he gets near
the table he flicks one of his wooden daggers into his hand from a wrist sheath. He
stabs the dagger through the heart of a vampire sneaking up on Angel. Angel looks
up at Conner strangely.
Angel: Why did you save me?!?!
Conner: Your death will be by my hands, did you really think you could kill a hunter
and expect to live more than two generations after?
Angel: I'm sorry about your grandfather, things have changed now.
Conner: Things never change with demons... never!!! Did you want to do this here or
take it outside.
Angel: Lets go.
Conner and Angel walk outside into an alleyway and take fighting stances. Conner
pulls off his coat and takes out a long bladed Katana.
Angel: So that sword was not lost with your grandfather.
Conner: Neither was the other sword of the pair.
Angel: You don't seem to have it, where is it?
Conner: With someone I'll be getting it back soon.
Angel: It's with her isn't it?(Angel laughs) That this would happen to the hunter its
beyond belief. Well, no, actually it's just plain funny.
Conner charges Angel swinging his sword Angel blocks the swing with his hand and
slashes Conner's side. Conner pulls his sword out of Angels grip cutting him.
Conner cuts into Angels side. Angel groans grabs Conner and throws him back
against a wall and disappears into the night. Conner rips his shirt into strips and
bandages the cuts on his side.
* * *
Angel shows up in Buffy's room.
Buffy: What happened to you?!
Angel: I ran into an old friend.
Buffy gets some clothe and bandages Angel's wound.
Buffy: Who did this was it Spike!?!?!?
Angel: No, you don't know him.
Suddenly Buffy's door opens.
Conner: It seems I was wrong... demons can change.
Buffy: What the hell are you doing in my house!
Conner: We all need to talk are lives will depend on each other for the next couple
weeks and we are going to have to be able to rely on each other if not trust each
other(looking at Angel).
Angel: She's coming now, I thought the slayer was going to have time to prepare
herself.
Conner: She's apparently impressed them and they feel letting her advance any more
would jeopardize their plans and lives.
Buffy: What am I missing here and how do you two know each other?
Angel: Just before I was cursed in Ireland I ran into the Hunter.
Buffy: Conner, how were you alive back then?
Conner: He's not talking about me he's talking about my grandfather.
Angel: He was staying at the gypsy camp. Darla and I were butchering its inhabitants
nightly--
Conner: On the second night my grandfather came out to face them. You and that
vampire bitch of yours fought him. He wounded Angel severely and then turned to
Darla.--
Angel: I grabbed a nearby woman and told the hunter I'd kill her if he did not lower his
swords. He put down the swords and I killed the girl and then slaughtered him when he
was completely defenseless.
Angel: The next night we came back and that is when the gypsy elders laid their curse
upon me.
Conner: Kalith and her elite guard will be at the waterfront where she came to these
shores tomorrow night. We can meet at the library after school to prepare. You show up
at dusk.
Buffy: Why should we take orders from you? I could probably deal with this myself.
Conner: Your taking orders from me because I know what I'm talking about and don't
you think your getting just a little too blase over this. For your information Kalith would
have you dead in under a minute.
Buffy: We'll see.
Conner: Yes we will tomorrow night. I'll see you at the library.
Conner walks over to the window and slips out into the darkness.
Buffy: Well why didn't you tell me about him? As much of an asshole as he's behaving
he could have been somewhat useful if he can fight.
Angel: Would you have really wanted to know? He's not actually that bad I went to
Ireland a couple years before to check up on him since I knew he'd be coming after me
sooner or later.
Buffy: I think I would have wanted to know. How did you know he was coming after
you?
Angel: Every vampire who's killed a hunter has died by one of his descendants except
one that is.
Buffy: Who? How did you avoid Conner's father?
Angel: Morgoth. I didn't avoid the father but before he could get to me he found
Morgoth and was slain by him just like the first Hunter
Buffy: The first hunter?
Angel: The line of the Hunter has existed for thousands of years Morgoth slayed Conner
Mason the great grandfather though infinitely removed of Conner. Since then son
followed father in the role of the hunter. All vampires fear them instinctively for their
training is amazing. The slayer can be a ditz and is judged individually but the hunters
are raised from birth for their one goal the death of all vampires!
Buffy: Anything else I should know about these guys?
Angel: Plenty, They all live to about 300 years of age and show no signs of aging.
Buffy: How?
Angel: Ironically, Conner the first one was in love with a vampire. Morgoth had her eye
on the vampire though and that's why he killed Conner. He was defending her from
Morgoth. For they had a child. Because of his sacrifice she escaped with their son and
has raised each hunter to become as viscious towards her race as possible.
Buffy: That is terribly sad.
Angel: It's worse, After a couple decades, she became very lonely and a man came into
to her life and once again she had a kid but this time it was a daughter. Little did she
realize that this man was a demon sent by Morgoth to impregnate her and then bring
their offspring to him to become his disciple and so Kalith became his second disciple.
Kalith was not completely evil though and often secretly visited her mother. On one such
occasion many years after, Conner saw her and fell in love with her. Kalith was actually
more a demon then a vampire and might have become good, but Morgoth holds her mind
in sway and controls her, yet her mind is so strong he cannot overcome it completely.
Kalith also fell in love with Conner and long they stayed together. Sadly Morgana found
out and told Conner about Kalith. Conner went into a great dispair and almost killed
himself. When Kalith found out who he was she very nearly fled but decided to stay for
this was the man she loved. She lingered for another year but then Morgoth called her
back to his fortress. In parting Conner gave her one of the swords the line of the hunter
had carried for eons. She gave him a magical locket that he always wears. It can sense
when vampires are near it. She gave it to him so that he could protect himself until they
might meet again.
Buffy: And now they have to destroy each other. That's horrible. Especially since it
could have happened to us. I think when this is over you and I are going to have a long
chat about your past so it doesn't keep springing up on me.
Angel: There's a lot you don't want to know about me. ... I guess I'll see you tomorrow
night.
Buffy: Okay well bye. Oh wait I have to--(Buffy turns around and sees that Angel is
gone).
The next day at school
Buffy: Guess who was in my bedroom last night.
Willow: Hmm, let me guess Angel?
Buffy: Well yeah, but guess who else.
Xander: Your mom it has to be your mom. please say it was your mom.
Buffy: Conner.
Xander: Why is it that every other guy in Sunnydale has been in your bedroom at night
other than me!
Buffy gives Xander a dirty look and continues.
Willow: So give, what happened?
Buffy: Well Angel came in hurt he had a cut along his side, boys with their toys I
suppose, Anyways it turns out that he and Conner had a little fight at the bronze. Angel
and Conner were cut up pretty bad cause Angel killed Conner's grandfather and he sort
of was mad at him about that. Angel didn't want to kill Conner though they seem a
pretty equal match in their fighting ability. Angel got in a good punch and took off. He
came to my house and I bandaged him up. Conner came into my house and said that we
have to get to know each other because of the big war coming up or whatever.
We are all meeting tonight in the library you guys should come as well.
That night in the library as Buffy comes in the door for the meeting
Buffy: So who are we missing here?
Xander: I almost had a heart attack when I found out that Angel and Conner weren't
here!! Like big surprise the two mystery brothers wait for the big entrance. Well I don't
know about you guys bu--*choke* what the?
Conner: Well I'm here where's are friendly neighborhood vampire. I suppose he'l--
Angel: Right here so lets get this done.
Conner: I don't know how you guys can just sneak up on people with no sound! Even
when your stinking clowns you can move without a sound!
Xander: Clowns?!?!
Conner: Yeah a couple years ago the circus was in town and a vampire thought some
clown would hit the spot and well... Lets just say that the red around the clowns lips after
that wasn't make up.
Xander: *shudder* Did you um kill the thing?
Conner: No, he ran off and there were more pressing matters at the time. Don't worry
though last I heard he was headed for Sunnydale so we should be safe.
Xander: Safe!!!! With a vampire clown roaming the streets?!
Conner: Do you think Spike would tolerate him he won't be around for long.
Giles: Well, I know that's dreadfully important but could we?!?! You know with the
upcoming war and all!
Conner: Fine! Fine! Here is the gist of it, You and the slayerettes over there stay here
out from under foot. Fangboy over there myself and Buffy will go to her house and
defend it from the vampire attacks. Now I didn't notice the defenses when I came the
last time so I'm assuming they were turned off, sloppy but I suppose with a mom they
couldn't be on all the time.
Buffy: These defenses you were talking about. Well, what are you talking about?
Conner: You know protection from vampires cross bows on the roof, garlic strung from
the ceiling, fire pits.
Buffy: I don't have those!
Conner: Wait, your telling me you live in a normal house!!
Buffy: Yes, where else would I live?
Conner: Oh... we are so dead! Angel do you have a place hidden away or with
defenses?
Conner: Argh!! How long have you been slayer not to have your house booby trapped!?
Angel: Hidden
Buffy: A couple years and I seem to have done all right.
Conner: I can't believe your out on the street and not in some nice quiet room let alone
the slayer!! Well I guess were dead. We might as well go out with a bang. Here is the
modified plan, You three still stay here and us three will attack Kalith and her forces
head on.
Willow: We could help you know.
Conner: Yeah, maybe if at the sight of you they started to laugh and they fell down
convulsed with laughter!
Xander: Hey! (muttering 1,2 carry the 3) I have at least 10 vampires dead and slayed so
what do you say about that.
Conner: I say that if you insist on going along we'll bury you in their ashes if it makes
you feel tougher.
Buffy: Ten VAMPIRES!! Is still pretty good for someone who isn't a slayer or a
HUNTER(sarcastically said)
Conner: Whoa!! What brings out the sudden rage? What use can they possibly be
against Kalith's assassin clan?!?!?!?!
Buffy: More than you'd think after the master was killed I left them back and believe
me I regretted it I almost--
Conner: Yeah Yeah, I know big deal they helped then I know all about it. So what? A
bunch of NORMAL vampires is not worth much against assassins of the order of Kalith
and I know.
Angel: Shut up!!! I think we have more to worry about they can stay--
Xander: Hey!!
Angel: If we fail you guys will be Sunnydale's last hope.
Conner: Then we better not fail!!!! Otherwise Sunnydale is in for hell... and I should
now I've been there. Lets go.
Conner walks out of the room.
Buffy: What!? Ok after this is over that guy has some serious explaining to do.
Buffy and Angel head out after Conner. They have been gone about 10 seconds
when:
(Xander, Willow and Giles look at each other.)
Xander: Willow: Giles: Lets go.
Buffy, Angel and Conner are on a hill overlooking Kalith's forces coming on to the
main land by a small boat another group of 20 are coming to join the others.
Buffy: OK so I say frontal assault all the way fire off a couple crossbow bolts and then
charge.
Angel and Conner look at her as if she's insane!
Conner: Are you insane!?!?!?! There is at least 3 groups of scouts we can kill before
that!
Angel: You two are both crazy charge a force of 40 assassins from the order of Kalith
straight on! *Sigh* well I guess there's no helping it and since I'm dead already I don't
think there's much for me to worry about.
Buffy: Pfft! You talk as though were not going to get out of this with are lives let alone
hair not even frizzled.
Conner: Hair not even... Oh god have mercy on me for embarking on the longest night
of my life.
Buffy: Funny man eh? Well what's that over your shoulder that you let sneak up on
you? A vampire?
Buffy shoots the vampire with her crossbow.
Conner: Yeah it was, thanks and it was a vampire the same thing that you let sneak up
on you.
Conner whips out his swords and calmly removes the vampire of his head.
Buffy: Well...um I guess that's one for one eh?
Angel returns from having snuck off.
Angle: My totals 2 vampires 2 to nothing and nothing that is.
Conner: 1 actually
Buffy: Same here
Angel: Some actually got past me?! These guys make about as much noise as the
shadows!
Conner: Fan out everybody. Lets get us some vampires! So lets see the count is Angel
by one, lets see if we can't remedy that after tonight probably my last chance and all.
Buffy and Angel: OK
Angel: Oh before we go someone showed up who said he'd help
Buffy: Really who?
Spike: Hello slayer.
Buffy: You're going to help us?!
Spike: If there's one thing I hate more than you its anything to do with Morgoth.
Suddenly Spike notices Conner who had been staring at him.
Spike: You!?!(to Angel) You never said he would be here!! If there's one thing I hate
more than Morgoth it's him!!
Angel: Would you have come otherwise?
Spike: Of course I would have. I would have brought some torturing tools as well but I
would have come all the same.
Buffy: Wait a sec you invited him here!?
Angel: We can use his help.
Spike: I'll do my thing with Dru on the fourth group of scouts you guys didn't see. Then
we'll disappear after Kalith scatters your bones I don't want to be around for her to make
any connections.
Spike slips off into the shadows.
Conner sneaks up on a group of vampires and throws his wooden daggers, one hits
the mark and the vampire falls to ashes the other plants itself in the stomach of a
vampire and he looks down and growls “hunter in the woods fan out.”
Conner: Son of a Banshee!! Maaaaasoooon!!!!!!!!!!!
The vampires each pull out two slender swords and charge into the forest as silent as
the shadows. Conner drops from a tree on the dagger gutted vampire and slices off
his head. The other vampires turn around to see him.
Conner: Oh shit!!!
A series of thrusts and parries occurs and one more vampire falls with Conner
receiving small cuts on his shoulders and arms. The 2 remaining vampires go to
either side of him and one slashes low the other high Conner dives through the
middle and rolls to his feet. He pulls his dagger out of the ground and hurls it at a
vampire who jumps back and deflects it. Smiling he says not good enough. Conner
calmly points to the vampires mid section where he has jumped back into a tree
branch and staked himself the vampire looks down and turns to ashes. The other
vampire charges Conner as he charges it and the vampire plunges one of his blades
into Conners shoulder as he cuts off its head!
Meanwhile Buffy is fighting 4 vampires. She kills all 4.
All 3 arrive back at the hill Conner and Buffy with wounds but Angel seems
perfectly fine. Buffy has a cut along her leg and her hair is all messed up.
Conner: Nice work guys now to the main attack. It's pretty hopeless anyway you look
at it, so the strategy is a frontal assault.
Angel: With that strategy we won't!
Buffy: So our ingenius plan is to walk up and attack.
Angel: It makes sense... sort of. What sane person would do it? Us that's who.
Conner: That will give us more of a surprise then any other way we try it.
Buffy: This will be... fun. I guess if you've got to go out you should go out with a bang.
Conner: See you all in hell.
The three stride in shoulder to shoulder. A sentry notices ther silhouette in the
distance and yells for everyone to get ready. The three stride in.
Kalith: You're insane.
Conner: And you're dead.
Kalith: You will be to, rather soon my dear.
Conner: You'll be dying with me!
Kalith: *laughs* My love I'm already dead! Kill them my order all but the hunter he
will be mine! *laughs*
All around a general brawl starts Conner gets knocked back into a tree and is
stunned for a second. A vampire closes in... At that moment Willow pops out from
behind a tree.
Willow: Look!! defenseless woman standing around to get eaten.
The vampire looks at Conner who is still out of it and smiles then starts off towards
Willow. Out from behind a tree pops Xander.
Xander: defenseless this!!!!!
Xander stakes the vampire!!!!
Conner: I guess I may have been wrong about you two. Well back to battle
here.*Conner tosses a wooden dagger to each of them and then runs back into battle.*
Buffy and Angel are being slowly beaten back with Kalith laughing in the
background.
Kalith: Angel, give up come to me turn on the slayer come to me.
A strange glow comes from Kalith's eyes. Just then Conner runs in and blocks the
view of Kalith. His eyes glow red and he attacks the vampires viscously! Buffy
notices the eyes but Angel doesn't. Kalith sees the eyes and a look of fear crosses her
face.
Conner: Die you vampire scum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Conner goes into a berserker rage and the vampires are driven back. Most of the
vampires are dead. 5 others stand in the way of Kalith and another vampire who
stays near her. The other vampires charge recklessly.

Conner charges Kalith and soon there other Katanas are broken only the identical
ones remain. Conner slips in and disarms Kalith.
