Xander led the group to the warehouse he rescued Giles from before Buffy fought Angelus. There stood the Acathla statue, dead as the area around it. There were no traces that Buffy had ever been there, that the vortex had ever opened.
"This place is giving me the creepies," Willow said. "I'm thinking this is not so good."
"This is it," Giles said. "Are you ready to do this?"
They all looked at each other.
"We all need to handle the crystal and the one with the purest heart will say the affirmation," Giles said. "That means you, Willow."
Xander and Cordelia looked at each other, and at Willow, who had become very red in the face.
"Let's do this," Willow said.
