"Oh shit!" said Fly. Just then, a vampire disintegrated, as a crossbow bolt slammed into his chest. They all looked up, and saw a petite blonde girl standing on top of a building nearby. Several other people, including a tweed clad man and an extremely pale man wearing all black stood with her.
"Aw, I'm not invited to this party? I'm shocked." said the blonde mockingly. Her companions threw a rope ladder down the side of the building, and the blonde started pegging vampires that tried to enter the alleyway. Eventually, the vampires ran off.
Fly was last up the ladder, and a redheaded girl began to roll up the ladder. Fly took that chance to look the group over.
The blonde had a double barreled shotgun hung on her back, two pistols in holsters strapped to her calves, a sword, also on her back in a scabbard, two hunting knives in sheathes, one on either forearm, a coil of rope at her side, and two well carved stakes and a pouch on the other.
The pale man had a sword on his back, several knives on various portions of his body, mostly in his long overcoat, an Uzi on his back, and a pistol on his hip.
A black haired teenager who was beside the redhead had a rocket launcher, a machine gun, and a long knife strapped to his back, along with two other knives.
The redhead had an assault rifle strapped to her back, a backpack with a small unicorn on it, and a water gun in a holster on her hip.
The tweed man had a shotgun, several stakes and crosses, and a pistol.
A mocha skinned girl who stood next to the blonde had a machine gun and a sword on her back, a handaxe in a sheath on her hip, two stakes strapped to her calves, a coil of rope on the other hip, and a cross with C-4 in it around her neck.
Arlene broke the silence first. "Who the hell are you?" she asked them, eyes narrowing.
The blonde stepped forwards. "I'm Buffy Summers. These are the Slayerettes. Now who are you?"
Fly stepped forwards. "I'm Corporal Flynn Tagart, this is PFC Arlene Sanders of USMC Light Drop Infantry. This is Jill, a hacker, and this is Albert, he's a former sniper."
Buffy nodded. "Are you in league with the invaders?" she asked them.
Albert shook his head. "No, we're trying to destroy them."
Buffy nodded, and hung the crossbow on a leather strap on the leather harness that held her scabbard and her shotgun. "Welcome to the Hellmouth." she said.
