Buffy froze. So did Becky and Laura. Eve smiled slowly, like a snake.
"Hello, girls." she said.
Buffy slowly got up. "Eve." she said warily. Becky and Laura began to back slowly towards her.
"How are your legs, Buffy?" Eve asked her sweetly. Buffy glared at her. Eve laughed coldly. "I'm looking forwards to getting reaqquainted with you." She looked at the other members of the coven. "All of you."
Eve turned, and left the library. Laura's face was sheet white. Buffy swallowed. Fear pounded at her, and she closed. her eyes. Then she opened them, and stood up.
"I've gotta go." she said. Laura and Becky followed her from the library.

Buffy led the girls out to the quad, and they sat down on the edge of the fountain.
"What are we going to do?" Laura asked Buffy. Buffy shook her head. "I don't know." she said.
Becky stared at her. "You're the one with the magic. You have to do something!" she said, fear evident in her eyes.
"Not anymore." whispered Buffy.
"She's going to kill us!" said Becky.
Buffy shook her head slowly. "She won't. She needs us so that her powers will work. She kills us, and she loses her power."
"What did she mean about your legs?" Laura asked Buffy.
"She injured my legs through dreams." replied Buffy.
"My back has it's scars again." said Becky. Laura smiled shakily. "Did you know that I'm wearing a wig?" she said.
Buffy closed her eyes, and fought back fear. "We have to avoid her. Stay out of her way, leave the room whenever she enters it, and don't say anything to her."
Becky nodded. "What about her spells?"
Buffy grimaced. "I'll look into it." she said.
