An intense and grueling 18 hours of labor at Sunnydale Hospital had passed by in
a sudden blur as Buffy the former Vampire Slayer finally gave birth to
her and Angel's first child. The boy entered the world at exactly 9:55 P.M. His name? Connor
Beads of sweat trickled from Buffy's forehead, matting tendrils of blond hair in the process as
she took a deep breath of relief and smiled at her beloved.
Willow stood on the other side, grasping her best friend‘s fragile hand.
"That was so not good. Remind me never to have kids again," Buffy yelped.
Angel just gave a slight smile, pressing his warm lips softly against her wet forehead.
"You still look beautiful," he said, kissing her once again. She smiled at him.
"Congrats, Buffy. I'm so happy for you," her best friend Willow said as she hugged her friend.
" Thanks, Will. At least now the painful as hell contractions stopped. they really hurt," groaned
Buffy as she sat up, waiting for her baby to come while the nurses were cleaning the infant.
"Now you guys are Mommy and Daddy. How does it feel to be a Mom Buffy? Now they you're no longer the Slayer?" asked Willow.
"God it feels so good. No more Slaying. I finally get to have a normal life."
"Oh there he is Buffy. He looks so beautiful," squealed Willow, the motherly nurse giving the infant to
Willow as she wrapped her pale arms around him.
"He looks just like you Angel," she smiled, playing with the infant's small crimson hand. The infant looked incredibly like his father.
"He's so adorable." "Let me see," squealed Buffy as Willow gently gave her their son.
"Will's right Angel he looks just like you. Hey there.” Buffy gently placed a kiss to her son’s cheek.
"My baby boy. he does look like me, Buff," said Angel, holding him.
"So Buffy, Angel what are you guys gonna name him?" asked the curious Willow.
Buffy and Angel look at each other, then answered, "We decided to name him Connor," Buffy said.
"Cute name. Now all we have to do is get your wedding set," Willow smiled at her best friend. Buffy smiled back at her.
"Yep, i think that's the last thing we need to do. You happy with that Angel?"
Angel just looked at her. "I'm happy with everything,” "I love you too. "Is your baby going to have your powers?" Willow questioned.
" Yeah Will he is and so are we. Even if I'm not the Slayer anymore the Powers gave us our powers just in case. They screwed us so many times." "That settles it then."
For the first time in her life Buffy no longer had to worry about killing the forces of darkness.
It was about damn time the Powers finally gave her the normal life she craved for so long
