BAM! The vampires fist slammed into her gut, knocking her to the grouch but only for a second before she did a backflip and was on her feet again, "Ya know, I could call the cops on you and you could go to jail for assault." The vamp answered that with a swing and a miss to her head, "Jeez man chyllax. I was just letting you know the concequences." And again he swung for her head, but this time he actually hit her but she recovered quickly.
She threw all of her weight into the next punch to his face and cause him to fly back a foot or two. While he was still on the ground she pulled out her lucky stake and once he stood, she threw it directly at his heart and he was dust within seconds, "Or that happens."
She slowly headed back to her apartment. Life wasn't particularly easy for her these days. High school, waitressing job, and slaying at night was not an easy schedule. Up at six for school, home by three then to work by four, then home by nine, get stake and a cross, then out to slay until about one or two. Repeat until dead, "My life sucks." She mumbled and stepped up the pace.
She took a glance at her watch, one fourty-five. She'd be home by two get her four hours of sleep, then to school. She sighed as her building came into view. Finally. After trudging up three flights of stairs she unlocked her door and then relocked it once she was inside.
After stripping and putting on shorts and a tank, she went into her bathroom to wash up and to pee of course. Then she returned to her room and let out an exasperated sigh, "Ohmigod. I'm tired, and I have school in the morning. Please make this quick." She climbed into bed and listened to the man sitting in her windowsill.
"The master's getting stronger. His minions are capturing more people and taking them to him. You need to do something."
"Yeah, sleep. I'll...take care of it. The vampires are getting more agressive. It'd be way more helpful if you actually got off your ass and helped every once in a while instead of telling me how bad of a job I'm doing." She practically spat the words out.
He smirked, "I help when I can. Like tonight. Another girl was being attacked, and I killed the bastard. Then went out with her."
She rolled her eyes, "Well congratu-fuckin-lations. I'm tired Angel. So leave. I'll see you when I see you."
He shook his head, "Typical. Night, Nat." And with that he was off.

Buffy woke with a start and she glanced at her clock. One fourty-five, "Ughhhh." She sighed. But she was thankful she woke up. Her dreams were just too weird to stay asleep. She had dreamed about another girl being attacked by a vampire. But she fought him off and killed him just like Angel had done earlier that night. She never got a clear look of the girls face but it was just too weird.
Laying back and listening to the music that filled her room she tried to go back to sleep. But had no luck. Then she started thinking of Angel. His eyes, his lips, the way he smiled at her, the way he saved her life. His name fit him so perfectly.

Buffy hummed the tune softly but was started by a tap on her window. She looked at her clock again. Two fifteen. A lto of time had passed in what hadn't seemed like very long. She sauntered over to her window and looked out. Nothing. Just darkness. Then she turned back around and headed back to bed.
The song had changed but she hummed along with this one too.
Take this pink ribbon off my eyes
