At the magic box, Willow was just finishing up her science experiment when Buffy and Spike came through the door.
“I figured out the accident part,” Buffy said.
Xander looked up and scowled. “What’s he doing here?” He asked.
“I wanted him to come. We’re just checking in then we’re going home,” Buffy said, pulling Spike over to the table. “What did you find out?”
“The meats a mix of vegetable cells,” Willow said.
“Well, the creepy woman who paralyzed me is probably the one who caused the finger and foot to show up,” Buffy mumbled, sitting in Spike’s lap.
“You okay?” Spike asked, softly.
Buffy smiled at him. “Just a little tingly feeling in my legs. But I’m okay,” she said, kissing him softly.
“Buff?” Xander asked, as Dawn smiled.
Buffy reluctantly tore her lips away from Spike’s to look at Xander. “Yeah?”
“You’re kissing Spike,” Xander said.
“I know. Spike and I have been together for a while and it was time for you guys to know,” Buffy said, squeezing Spike’s hand.
“Buffy are you feeling okay?” Xander asked.
“Yeah. It’s a long story but I’ll tell you tomorrow. Right now I’m tired and Dawn has school,” Buffy said, standing up.
Xander and Willow looked at each other as the 3 of them left.
At the house, Buffy and Spike tucked Dawn in bed before going to Buffy’s room.
Spike held Buffy in his arms for the first time since they started their ‘relationship’.
“Spike, its okay,” Buffy said, feeling how tense he was. “Things are different.”
Spike tried to relax and buried his head in her hair. “Goodnight Pet,” he said, softly.
“Good night Spike,” she whispered, as they fell asleep.
