Dawn sat by herself, crying. Kenny, and Dru came to her. "You Ok, Dawnie?"
"Go away" she growled, "Leave me alone!"
"Don't listen to her" said Kenny, "She's an evil bitch. I mean we're all evil bitches, but still."
"I don't understand, why does she do this to me. I love her. Why doesn't she love me?"
"Poor dear" said Dru, as she hugged Dawn, "Step Mother can't see you're beauty. She only
sees her pain. Wants to make us feel it. She is swinning in black oozing pools, of pudding."
"Thanks Dru" said Dawn, "Not sure what you're talking about, but I know you mean well."
"I think she's trying to say Buffy's a bitch" said Kenny, "But you have us." She hugs Dawn.
"Thanks."
"Ah, this is sweet" said Buffy, who'd been listening the whole time. "Dawn, could you give us
a moment?"
"Yes Buf, uh Mistress." Dawn quickly walked away.
"Kenny" said Buffy, "I'd like it, if you'd stop filling my sister's head, with bad ideas."
"Oh, I though she wasn't your sister."
"Hey, I'm just trying not to spoil her. Got to be tough on kids, spare the rod, and all."
"She's not a kid!"
"I'll say this slow, so you can understand. She's my problem, stay away."
"Mean stepmother" growled Dru, "Don't deserve the pretty glowing child."
"Dru, have I told you you're a moron!" Buffy kicks Dru hard, in the jaw, sending her down.
Kenny jumps in Buffy's face, "DON'T EVER DO THAT AGAIN!"
"Bah ha ha, or you'll what? Go ahead, hit me. Save you girl. We know who well it went that time.
(Kenny glares at Buffy) Oh, sensitive subject? Poor Willow, she had to place her life, in you're
hands. Look where it got her. But at least she doesn't have to look at what a weakling you are."
"Don't push me" Kenny growled, as she balled up her fist, "I'm warring you!"
"Really." Then Buffy violently pushed her, knocking her down. Kenny jumped to her feet, and got
into a fighting stance.
"GO HEAD, KENNY, THROW ONE PUNCH, AND I'LL GIVE YOU THE BEATING OFF YOU'RE
LIFE! And then I'll do things to Dru, that will haunt you forever. And you'll only be able to watch,
and cry. AGAIN!"
Kenny glared at Buffy, with her fist balled up. But finally she lowered her fist, and head, in shame.
"Yeah, real brave girl you have there, Dru." Buffy proudly walked off, as Dru hugged Kenny.
"I'm sorry, Dru. I just."
"I know, my pretty one. She's so cruel. You can't beat her, I know. All we can do is hide, like mice,
and hope her claws don't find us."

Alley walked to the library, and stopped at the door. She knew she couldn't do this, without help. But
she dreaded talking to Wood, but it had to be done. She opened the door, and walked in. "Hey"
she said, sheepishly.
"You must be lost" he said, without looking up, "We have books here. You don't ever use those."
"Look, I know I was a bitch, last time. But you were right. I saw Angelus. I can't beat him alo."
"Don't worry" he said, cutting her off, "You don't have to. I put in a call to the, how did you say it, slayer
store. They're sending me a new one."
"But you don't understand, he."
"Goodbye, Miss Fox."
"Look, I'm sorry, if I hurt you're feeling before, but."
"SORRY" he said, as he jumped up. "I LOST FRIENDS! I LOST THE WOMAN I LOVED, THE WOMAN
I LOVED!!!!!!!!!! And for what, so little bitch could mock them! They deserve better! You don't deserve
to be a slayer!"
"Fuck you!"
"I don't think so. Now get out!"

Later Ally sat by the side off the road, drinking hard. "Fuck Wood" she said, with slightly slurred speech,
"I tried to play nice. I don't need that little bitch! (She looked up at the sky, and began to cry) I'm gonna make
him pay Lisa. I swear to you. I don't care if I'm alone, I don't need anybody! I'll kill his ass, so much! He';s
gonna, gonna, gonna, ah he's dead!"
"Yeah I'm sure he's scared," said a voice. she turned to see Connor standing there.
"What do you want?"
"To help, like I've been saying. Looks like you need it."
"Fuck you Kate Moss!"
"Yeah Alley, cuss some more. It didn't stop him before, what makes you think it will now?"
She started to say something, but didn't know what to say. Truth is once she said all the dirty words, 90 percent
of her vocabulary is gone. "How do you know so much about him?"
"I'm his son" Alley moved back a little, but he kept talking, "But I'm not like him. I'm good. I just want to stop
him."
"Why, if he's you're dad?"
"Someone has to. He can't be aloud to hurt good people, it's not wright. But I can't do it alone."
"Why me?
"Cause I'm desperate. I'm scraping the bottom, and found you."
"GO TO HELL! Where do you get off saying that?"
"He smiled, as he spoke," Prove me wrong."
