NCIS HEADQUARTERS
NCIS Director Jenny Shepard stares at the phone receiver after learning that it was the Secretary of State on the other line. The Secretary had just informed her that a special team of investigators was coming from England. Jenny knew that Gibbs would have a tough time if that. She returns the phone to the cradle and buzzes her secretary.
A few moments later, Gibbs comes into her office....without being announced as usual.
SHEPARD-
"Jethro....we have some people coming over from England to look into Cpl Garrett's death." Gibbs makes a face. "You WILL give them complete co-operation, but as far as the investigation, it's still your case."
GIBBS-
"When are they getting here, and who are they?"
JENNY-
"The secretary wouldn't say, but they are arriving today. One of them knows Ducky."
GIBBS-
"Ducky said he needed to bring someone in, but we didn't expect a team."
A few hours later, Buffy, Giles, Xander, Faith, Dawn, Kennedy, and Willow were standing in the front door of NCIS headquarters having their IDs checked and bags searched. Due to the fact that they were entering a federal building, none of them carried any weapons. Tony instantly spotted the four twenty-somethings in the doorway, and decided that he should give them a formal welcome......while Zeva rolled her eyes at him.
TONY-
"Welcome to the Naval Criminal Investigation Service, can I give you young ladies....." Tony is stopped by a jolting slap to the back of the head by Gibbs.
GIBBS-
"Jethro Gibbs." He holds his hand to Giles.
GILES-
"Rupert Giles."
GIBBS-
"Ducky's friend."
GILES-
"That's right."
GIBBS-
"Well.....Director Shepard has asked to see you and a Ms. Buffy Summers as soon as you arrive."
GILES-
"Excellent. Huh....Xander and Faith, you two stay here. Willow and Kennedy go to autopsy and tell Ducky I will be there soon."
DAWN-
"And me?"
GILES-
"Yes, Dawn....you take forensics."
GIBBS-
"Okay, autopsy is in the bottom basement and Abby's lab is 1 floor down from here." Dawn, Kennedy, and Willow walk over to the elevator. Tony noticed that Gibbs gave the red head a small look. Gibbs attention to red heads was almost legendary.
As the different groups went there seperate ways, Gibbs escorted Giles and Buffy upstairs to the directors office.
