Giles was still sitting at the table looking for more on the strange prophecy. He had checked most of his volumes, but had not come across anything else on the prophecy. He was just about to call it a night maybe tomorrow he could get Willow to help him with that blasted computer and was getting up to retrieve his coat when Buffy and Xander barged, toting a still unconscious Willow between them. "What happen to Willow? Is she all right?"
"We think so. She seems to be breathing well, and has a strong pulse," panted an out breath Xander.
Buffy and Xander laid their friend on one of the empty table tops and Giles came over to look her.
"What happened to her?" Giles asked as he bent to examine her.
Buffy looked at him and said, "She was hit by some kind of tranquilizer dart."
Giles looked up and said "Xander, go in my office and look in the emergency first aid kit. Get the smelling salts. Let's see if that will rouse her."
"Okay," replied Xander as he rushed toward the office in the back of the library.
"Buffy what happened out there?" asked Giles.
"I'm not really sure. We met a couple of strange guys at the Bronze Adam and Megabyte. They gave me a strange feeling, so we decided to investigate them. But as we got to know them they seemed more normal and nice..."
"Then what happened?"
"As we were all leaving, they headed the opposite direction from us. I felt vampires from their direction, so I ran to see if they needed my help. Not only were there vampires, but also men with tranquilizer guns. They shot Willow and Megabyte. I think that Adam looked like he had been hit too. Although, he must not have been 'cause he was still awake. I fought and killed the vamps and then fought the gun men. When I went to check on Adam and Megabyte they..."
"Disappeared in a flash of light," finished Xander as he returned with the smelling salts and handed them to Giles.
"Disappeared in a flash, that sounds odd..." said Giles as he gently lifted Willow's head and passed the salts under her nose.
"Come on, Willow, wake up," prodded Giles.
"Huh, where am? What hit me?" cried a suddenly conscious Willow.
"You're in the library. Apparently you where shot by a dart gun," replied Giles.
"Are you okay?" Buffy and Xander asked in unison.
"Yeah I think so, but my head is killing me! Do any of you have and aspirin the size of the library...?" answered Willow slowly. "Where are Adam and Megabyte?" she asked as Xander helped her sit up and put his arm around her protectively.

Following teleporting both himself and Megabyte from Sunnydale to the ship, Adam stumbled toward the center of the ship. After a few steps, the combined strain of the teleporting and the drug from the dart caused Adam to blackout for a few minutes. When he subsequently began to awaken, he found that he had a terrible headache presumably caused by the drugs. Once he was fully awake, he remembered what had happened. Despite a wave of pain that tried to overcome him, he called Megabyte's name telepathically. When he did not receive an answer, he jumped up quickly and ran to check on Megabyte. Adam checked him over and saw no visible problems except for two puncture wounds on his neck. Adam put his hands on his friend's wound and they began to glow. The holes on Megabyte's neck began to heal and close, and Megabyte started to regain consciousness.
"Are you okay, Megabyte?" asked Adam.
"I think so, but ouch what happened? I feel like someone is using my head for a speed bump," moaned Megabyte.
"I'm not sure about everything, but I believe that Masters and some men tried to catch us just as we were about to be attacked or something by someone," replied Adam
"Any idea who?"
"Buffy, Willow, and Xander showed up awful suddenly so it could have been them. I did not see anyone else before I ported us out," responded Adam.
"But why would they attack us?" asked Megabyte
"I don't know, but I know that Buffy has some kind of strange powers. She picked up a wooden crate that must have weighed 40 or 50 pounds and threw it several yards like it was as light as a feather. Also she seemed to have above average fighting skills. I saw Willow get hit with a dart, and then Buffy preceded to attack and drive back Masters men and caused them to retreat," commented Adam as he helped Megabyte to a standing position.
"Maybe I better get home. Tomorrow we can figure out what happened," responded a tired Megabyte.
"Well okay, but maybe you should tell your dad. He can look into helping us find out more about Buffy and her friends...and what to do about Masters," said Adam as he looked at Megabyte.
"Okay. I will. I'll see you tomorrow morning then," replied Megabyte.
"Okay. I'll see ya tomorrow, but be careful," Adam said just before Megabyte teleported home.

Adam decided that he too would try to get some rest and that he would investigate things farther tomorrow.

The night before, after figuring out that Willow was indeed okay and relaying what they knew to her, everyone had agreed that they would go home and get some rest. It was agreed that they would return to the library first thing in the morning to continue their research.
Willow was sitting at her computer, waiting for it to boot up and thinking about what the others had told her. What would armed men want with Adam and Megabyte? And how could they disappear like that? This worried her because it sounded a lot like that might have something to do with the prophecy. Apparently the same thing was on Giles's mind because he asked her if she could try to find out more about Megabyte and Adam while he and the others researched the books. After the computer was ready, she first hacked into the school database on students to get the permanent records on Megabyte. That gave her his address and the name of his father who was listed as a private security analyst at SunCal. The records also showed that while he had lived and gone to school in both England and the US, Megabyte had never been to school in Australia. She then preceded to hack into the SunCal computer to find out more on Mr. Damon.
After activating her worm program and Trojan horse program she waited for them to break into the personnel records at SunCal, Willow looked up to see Buffy and Xander reading some volumes while Giles was looking in the back for more. The computer beeped and she looked down as the computers of SunCal granted her access to their records. The file on Damon showed that he was General assigned to SunCal as an security analyst. The file listed him as on loan from WorldEx Securities Systems a joint British and American military security endeavor. That seamed like enough for Willow so she decided not to try to hack into WorldEx. Instead, she began research on people that had the ability to disappear. This brought up several hits on related siting in both the US and Britain. After cross-referencing them she found many to corresponded to places that Megabyte had lived at or close by. The references implied that some teenagers had disappeared and reappeared in flashes of bright lights. Some of the descriptions matched both and Adam and Megabyte. She then tried searching for something on Adam Newman. She found several name matches, but nothing that matched Adam's description. She tried other databases but found nothing. Adam's background seemed very mysterious and that could possibly be dangerous for Buffy and the Slayerettes. She decided it was time to tell the others what she had found and more specifically, what she had not found. Then they could decide what to do from there.
After relaying what she had learned to the group, Willow asked "Well what are we going to do?"
"Well because we need to find out more about this Megabyte and Adam. Maybe you three should checkout Megabyte's house. You can find out more from him while I continue to do research," said Giles.
"Okay, that sound like a plan to me," remarked Buffy as she started toward the door with Willow and Xander in tow.
"Buffy, Xander, Willow, remember. We don't know what these two are or capable of so please be careful," warned Giles.
"Don't worry, Giles we can handle it," replied Buffy.
"Yeah, no biggie," chimed in Xander.
"We will Giles," echoed Willow as she followed Xander and Buffy out the library doors.

"Hanson, what do you have for me," inquired Masters.
"Well I hacked into the local high school and there are a couple of possibilities for that blonde girl. I searched for a Willow and the only one that I found was a Willow Rosenberg. According to her records she is a straight A student, she logs a lot of computer time, and spends a lot of time in the school library according to the number of passes that are logged in on her," replied Hanson.
"Good, anyway to narrow that list of possibles for the Blonde," asked Masters.
"Well basing the candidates on this Willow person the most likely person is a Buffy Summers. She has some classes with Willow. She also has several passes for the library. Also she has an discipline record that indicates a history of fights," remarked Hanson.
"Well that sound like a good place to start. Since you have her address I suggest you take Wiseman and stakeout this Buffy's house. We'll see if that is the girl that attacked us," ordered Masters. "Meanwhile, Wiley, Jenkins and I will stake out the Damon residence."
"Okay, I will report when I find out anything," said Hanson as he and Wiseman headed toward the garage.
"Wiley check and make sure the tranquilizer guns are ready and then let's head out. Jenkins get the van ready," ordered Masters.
"Okay, boss." responded the two men.

* Yes, Adam, come on over. *
After a flash of light, Adam suddenly was standing by Megabyte. "Did you talk to your Dad?" asked Adam.
"Yep, he said that he would look into it. He contacted WorldEx and they are sending some help to track down Masters. Also he made me promise to stay out of it." responded Megabyte.
"Well the help is welcomed, but I still think that we have dealt with Masters before so we are the best to deal with him now," said Adam.
"I know that, that's why I had my fingers crossed when I promised him I would stay out of it," smirked Megabyte.
"That's what I figured," said Adam knowingly. "I think that we should try to find out more about Buffy and her friends. Any ideas how?"
"Yeah, maybe we should teleport to the school office and check out the records on Buffy and her friends. I can do the computer thing and see what we find," said Megabyte. Besides the normal Tomorrow People powers Megabyte has a special knack with computers and other electronic devices, they always seemed to do what he wanted them to do.
"Okay lets do that" as Adam teleported to the office quickly followed by Megabyte.
Megabyte sat down at the computer and began to type while Adam looked around the office to see if he could find anything useful. After about thirty minutes of unsuccessful searching Megabyte called Adam over to look at the computer. He had found nothing to link them to Masters. Apparently Buffy was somewhat a juvenile delinquent. According to her records, she was involved in many fights and did a lot of class cutting. Willow was a model of the good student, and Xander was an average student. The three share some classes but nothing else. They all apparently spent a lot of time in the library because they each had dozens of library passes written from the Librarian Giles logged in their class attendance records. Megabyte then checked on the Librarian Giles, he was listed as having taken this job two years ago after leaving a very successful position at the British Museum.
Maybe we should checkout the library. I don't think there is any more information to be found in this computer on Buffy and her friends," said Megabyte as he looked up to Adam.
"Okay, I mean it's Saturday, so no one should be in there. Maybe we can find out more about this Giles person, and possibly learn why they spend so much time there," said Adam. He and Megabyte left the office and were heading toward the library when they herd voices coming from down the hall. They quickly ducked into a classroom and waited to see who was coming. They quickly determined that the voices where coming from the three people that they where interested in. The conversation interested them more. They heard Buffy ask a question to Willow about an address. Her reply caused Megabyte to begin to worry, especially after Buffy said for them to hurry up that may be they could catch them unaware as the trio passed by the classroom on the way to the outside door.
*Adam that address is mine, and I don't like the way Buffy was talking about catching me unaware!* thought Megabyte so as to not alert any one with the sound of his voice.
* I know, but don't worry we know that they are coming, so let's just follow them and see what they do,* responded Adam.
*Sure but let's stay at a safe distance.*
Megabyte and Adam looked out and not seeing any one started to follow the trio at a safe distance...or so they thought.
Buffy had been having the wiggins ever since they had left the school. She, Willow and Xander were walking down the street toward Megabyte's house when she got the strongest feeling of someone following her. She kept turning and looking over her shoulder, but no one appeared to be following them. At least not close. The last time she had looked, they had just turned the corner so this could have give her an opportunity to find out for sure if they were being followed. She leaned over and whispered to Willow who relayed to Xander about the feeling that she had. She told Willow to continue with Xander for a few blocks, then double back to the alley while she checked to see who, if anyone, was following them. She quickly ducked into the alley way and hid behind a dumpster. She waited for about a minute before she saw the very people that they were on the way to see walk by. She let them pass and then looked out of the alley as Xander and Willow ran up behind her. They had turned the corner and then sprinted for the other end of the alley to lose who ever was following them and help Buffy if she needed it.
"Megabyte and Adam just passed by. Is that a coincidence or what? It seems like they were the ones following us," stated Buffy to a surprised Willow and Xander.
"But how did they know where to find us and why were they following us?" questioned Willow.
"I don't know Will," replied Buffy
"Well, why not ask," responded a voice behind the three.
