OCEANANIA NAVAL BASE, VIRGINIA
NCIS Special Agent Tony DiNosso pulled the van up to the police tape surrounding the body of a Marine. Next to him in the passenger, Probationary Special Agent McGee was busy jotting down notes. In the van behind them, Special Agent Zevi David and Special Agent Jethro Gibbs pulled up behind them. Inside the back of the larger truck, Dr. Donald "Ducky" Mallard was busy getting his on-site gear ready.
Gibbs gets out of the van and walks towards a Marine captain, flashing his ID.
GIBBS-
"Tony, start photos. Zevi start measurement, and McGee...where's my coffee?" The younger agent stared briefly then went off to get some coffee. Ducky walks up to the Marine and sticks a liver therometer into the body. "What have we got, Ducky?"
DUCKY-
"Well, Jethro. Time of death is estimated at about....five hours. Signs of a struggle.....wait, what's this." Ducky takes his pen and moves the Marines collar revealing two puntion wounds. "Dear Lord, what killed you young man?"
Outside the primeter of the fence, Faith watched the agents through a set of binocles. "Damn, we should have been here sooner. Now the feds are all over this.' Cindy, a young Slayer paired with Faith, takes a look.
CINDY-
"Not FBI....NCIS, I think."
FAITH-
"Who?"
CINDY-
"Naval Criminal Investigation Service."
FAITH-
"Never heard of them."
CINDY-
"Not surprised, they are probably the most under funded agency in the federal government."
Back at the crime scene, Tony was taking a statement from a female Marine, asking the important questions...like her phone number. Gibbs pulls him aside.
GIBBS-
"What are you doing?"
TONY-
"You know, boss....just in case we have anymore questions."
ZEVI-
"Hmmmm....so that's what you call that." Gibbs just shakes his head, and turns his attention back to Ducky.
GIBBS-
"Ready, Ducky. Can we move him?"
DUCKY-
"Yes....and I admit that this one was perked my interest."
