In the morning, when Buffy woke, Spike was stroking her hair.
“Morning, Pet,” Spike said, kissing her hair.
Buffy smiled. “Morning. What time is it?” She asked.
“Its only 8. Do you have work?” Spike asked.
“No. After we talk to my friends, I’m yours for the day,” she whispered.
“Sounds nice,” Spike said, his hand traveling down her body.
“Spike,” she whispered, huskily. “Don’t. I’ll never leave if you do that, and I gotta.”
“You’re no fun” Spike pouted, taking his hand away.
Buffy whimpered softly. “We can have fun later,” she said, getting out of bed.
Spike smiled and got out of bed as well. He slid his jeans on and pulled his t-shirt over his head. “I’ll meet you downstairs,” he said, kissing her hair softly.
“Okay,” Buffy mumbled and proceeded to get dresses.
When she went downstairs, he was arguing with Dawn.
“No,” Spike said.
“Why?” Dawn whined.
“1) Cause I’m not your dad. 2) Because you’re too young. 3) No guy deserves you,” Spike said.
Buffy walked into the kitchen. “What guy?” She asked.
“Dawn wants a boyfriend,” Spike said, crossing his arms.
“And Spike wont let me,” Dawn whined.
Buffy raises an eyebrow at Spike. “You wont let her?” She asked.
“I promised I’d ask Spike if I ever found a guy if it was okay,” Dawn said, looking at him. “What if
you meet him first?”
Spike looked over at Buffy who was smiling. “What’s so funny?”
“The two of you. Yes, Dawn, I wanna meet this boy before we make any decisions. Also I have to tell you something,” she said.
“I already know about you and Spike,” she said, pouring juice.
“What?” Both blondes asked.
“It was so obvious. Everyone else knows except maybe Xander,” Dawn said.
Buffy blushed. “Never mind then,” she said, going to lean against Spike.
“Anyway’s Willows going to school and so am I,” Dawn said, leaving.
“We have the whole house to ourselves,” Buffy said, looking up at Spike.
Spike smiled and scooped her up to take her upstairs. “Cant let it go to waste,” he smirked.
