“Giles”, Nikki snuggled closer to Giles.
“Shh”, he put his finger on her mouth to stop her speaking. He then removed his finger and replaced it with his mouth. He pulled her body closer to his and let his hands run up and down her back. She moaned as his tongue explored her mouth. He moved his soft kisses to her neck and down along her shoulders.
“Giles”, she whispered. “Giles”, her voice got louder.
He opened his eyes and tried to move but only succeeded in falling off the couch in a mass of sheets. He looked up from the floor to find Nikki standing over him, trying hard not to laugh.
“I’m sorry”, she offered him her hand and helped him off the floor. “I didn’t mean to startle you”.
“It’s quite alright”, Giles stuttered, trying desperately to retain a little dignity. Nikki saw how embarrassed he was so she retreated to the kitchen to fix them some breakfast.
Giles sat down on the sofa, putting his face in his hands and letting out the breath he didn’t know he’d been holding in. He couldn’t believe he’d been dreaming about her in THAT sort of way. She was a young girl. Angel had trusted him to take care of her and he was contemplating...... no he wasn’t, he couldn’t. He had to put these thoughts out of his mind. He stood up and quickly got dressed.
Nikki had breakfast ready for him when he walked into the kitchen. He smiled at her as he sat down, unable to look at her in the eyes.
“Giles”, she looked at him. “I just wanted to thank you, for last night”.
“It was nothing”, he protested but she walked around to him and gave him a light kiss on the cheek.
“Well, it meant a lot to me”.
“Well”, his breath quickened at the touch of her lips. “we’d better be getting going”.
