Disclaimer: I do not own Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Pirates of the Caribbean.

"We pillage, we plunder, we rifle and loot. Drink up me 'earties yo ho! We kidnap and ravage and don't give a hoot. Drink up me 'earties yo ho! Yo ho, yo ho a pirate's life for me."

Buffy Summers was trying to cure her boredom with her favorite song. She'd known it since she was a little girl. Usually she sang it for fun, but today, well, to be quite frank, sucked. Nothing to do and no one to talk to. Which is surprising, consedering she ALWAYS had something to say. Just ask anyone whose talked to her.

You see, Buffy isn't your average girl. Yet, no one could seem to figure what kind of girl she was. Unlike most women, Buffy wasn't proper and stuffy. She didn't care what people thought, and that sometimes got her in trouble. Okay, it a lot got her in trouble.

As anyone would tell you, if you lived in Port Royal, you knew her. Not of her, you knew her. No way did she not make herself known. She started fights, caused scenes, and spoke her mind to anyone who would listen. She was very sly, and never got in serious trouble, for there was never any real proof. A lot of controversy could simply be about her outfits, Buffy was a natural born beauty, and she wasn't afraid to show it. No matter what trash people said about her wardrobe.

No, Buffy was certainly not average. Which is why no one could figure how she was friends with Elizabeth Swann. Elizabet admired Buffy for her outgoing-ness, and in return Buffy's veiws of her changed.

There was one person in Buffy's life, however, who she cared for like a brother. Willian Turner, or Will for short, never judged her. He was always there with open arms when she was in trouble or needed a friend. And altough he knew very little of Buffy or her life before Port Royal as she neglects to tell, he never used it against her. She'd always wished she could trust like that. She had once but.....well, that was a long time ago.

So, it was of great surprise when Buffy found herself wandering aimlessly around the docks humming her favorite song with a bored daze.

"It's the Caribbean for God's sake. There's gotta be something on this bloody island!"

She was about to leave, and that's when she saw it, or him rather. A man dressed strangely on a sinking ship. Could use a little fashion sense, but not bad on the eyes.

She watched with interest as he walked through the restriced part of the docks, a place she'd no doubt grown familiar with. She decided to listen in.

"This dock is off limits to civilians."

"I’m terribly sorry. I didn’t know. If I see one, I shall inform you immediately."

Buffy laughed to herself. " I like him already."
