USS SUNNYDALE
GILES-
"Track them. Raise the shields." Buffy steps out of the turbolift and hands Willow the transporter device.
BUFFY-
"Will, found out everything you can about this. Where's Dawn?"
GILES-
"Connor beamed her about the stolen shuttlecraft."
XANDER-
"Giles, we have a fix on their course."
GILES-
"Good."
OFFICER-
"Captain, DS9 is hailing us."
GILES-
"Open a channel." The main viewscreen comes on and the image of Miles O'Brien is there sitting in a chair. He is dressed differently than he normally is.
O'BRIEN-
"Ripper...you mind telling me where you got that starship from."
GILES-
"Excuse me, Chief...."
O'BRIEN-
"That's CAPTAIN O'Brien." In the background, Dr. Julian Bashir walks up. He has a beard and is dressed like 'Captain' O'Brien.
BASHIR-
"Answer him, Ripper."
GILES-
"Are you a captain, too?"
O'BRIEN-
"Wait a minute. What's your name."
GILES-
"Captain Rupert Giles of the Federation Starship Sunnydale and you know who I am. I've been to DS9 dozens of times."
O'BRIEN-
"That answers a few things. You see, Captain Giles, this station is called Tek'Nor. And you are in a parrell universe. In this universe, you and your crew are pirates. Let's see....I can see you, Ripper, and the blond is Slayer and the redhead is Red."
BUFFY-
"Where are the other 'us'?"
O'BRIEN-
"Don't know. Maybe the Regent captured them."
GILES-
"The Regent?"
O'BRIEN-
"Yep, Regent Worf. Our enemy."
SHUTTLECRAFT 4
Dawn touches the force field and gets a small shock. Connor is at the controls.
DAWN-
"You're insane."
CONNOR-
"Dawn...Dawn...Dawn, you don't understand. I can make you happy. In this universe...there is no Federation or Starfleet. You don't have to be tied down."
DAWN-
"I love being in Starfleet."
CONNOR-
"Sure....right. The perfect little officer. Of course, you love it. Big sis makes sure that you never get in trouble. You've been promoted twice in three years. And me, I filed for promotion and I was laughed at."
DAWN-
"Nobody laughed at you."
CONNOR-
"SHUT UP!!! YOU WEREN'T THERE!!!" Dawn was about to protest until she saw the phaser in Connor's hand. The set was on max, and at this range...the force field wouldn't stop the beam. She would have to play along for now.
