USS SUNNYDALE
Connor presses the button. On the outside of the ship, a vortex appears in front of the ship. The ship passes into the vortex and comes out on the other side. The party is interrupted by the sounds of the Red Alert Klaxon going off. Giles taps his com badge.
GILES-
"Giles to the bridge, what's going on?" Instead of Connor answering, it was a young crew member answered, fear in her voice. "Where is Ensign Connor?"
CREW MEMBER-
"I.I don't know, Captain. He just told me to take the bridge and he leave."
GILES-
"Computer: Location of Ensign Connor."
COMPUTER-
"Ensign Connor is in his quarters on Deck 6 Section 20 Alpha."
GILES-
"Buffy....take a security team to Connor's quarters. Willow, Tara, and Dawn your with me."
DAWN-
"Where?"
GILES-
"The bridge."
Buffy runs up to the security detail standing at Connor's quarters. She feels a little out of place in her white dress uniform. One of the other officer's hands her a phaser. She steps through the door. What a mess! Chairs broken, a table overturned, and sitting on the floor was a strange looking object. She walks up to the object carefully. Right next to the object was Connor's combadge. She taps her's.
BUFFY-
"Giles, Connor's gone. He could be anywhere on the ship."
GILES-
"Notify security to post guards at the transporter rooms and shuttle bays."
Back at the bridge, Giles and the others were trying to find out what was going on.
WILLOW-
"According to this, we're exactly where we should be. But the computer did record a space-time event five minutes ago."
DAWN-
"She's right. We're still on course for DS9. Five minutes until communication range."
Connor dragged the stunned security officer into a nerby Jefferies Tube...a mainteance tunnel. He closes the hatch and runs into the shuttle bay. He climbs on board Shuttlecraft 4 and opens the doors from the Shuttlecraft console. Buffy and her begin to run into the shuttlebay until Connor uses the shuttlecrafts phasers to disable the force field. The shuttlebay's air is blasted into space, and another force field comes down near the hallway doors, blocking Buffy from getting to Connor.
On the bridge, Dawn suddenly disappears into a transporter beam as the shuttle speed away. The shuttle jumps to warp and it disappears.
