CHEYENNE MOUNTAIN, COLORADO
After a short helicopter ride, and a long car ride, Buffy, Faith, Willow, Kennedy, Giles, and Xander enter the huge NORAD complex. They all walk into an elevator and Carter slides a key card into a slot and presses the button for Level 27. After the elevator they are shown into a briefing room. At the head of the table stands a handsome man in BDUs with one star on the collar.
O'NEIL-
"Hello, I'm General Jack O'Neil, and according to President Bush, I can tell you everything about the Stargate program."
BUFFY-
"So....you're not the Initative?"
O'NEIL (laughing)-
"No. We have better things to do than chase ghost stories." He stops laughing when we sees the looks on the Scoobies faces. "Yeah. We see Earth is in danger, at all times."
XANDER-
"Tell us something we don't know, General."
O'NEIL-
"Wait...how much do you know?"
GILES-
"Well, besides vampires and demons....nothing more than you."
KENNEDY-
"You know, Jack. Ghost stories."
FAITH-
"Except that shit is real....a lot more than contacting ET and telling him how to phone home."
O'Neil had expected this. He had heard of the Watcher's Council, and what they do. He never believed in the stories, but the look from Buffy's eyes told him a different story. It was the look he had himself.....the look of someone who had lost people under their command.
PLANET UNKNOWN
Dawn awoken in a charred hull. She walked up to her captors, and quickly looked away. No way their relatives would be able to ID them. She picked up a backpack filled with water and something that resembled food. She began to walk towards a river when a bright blue ring appeared. After the ring was gone a small gray alien looking person stood there.
ALIEN-
"Hello, my name is Thor. Do you require assistance."
DAWN-
"Yes...God, yes. These men kidnapped me."
THOR-
"Aw, Jaffa. General O'Neil of Earth asked about a small scout ship."
DAWN-
"Yes....I'm from Earth."
THOR-
"Take my hand." Dawn does, and they are both beamed about an Asgard ship. What nobody noticed was one of those tiny metal spiders in her backpack.
