MARQUIS RAIDER
Giles wakes up and looks around. The Marquis Raider was smaller than the Bird of Prey, but more confrontable. He walks out of the small room and walks towards the bridge. Spike is sitting in the center chair, while Kennedy is piloting the ship.
SPIKE-
"Are you sure about this?"
GILES-
"Tellafin 5 is the closest Class M planet with no population. Are you sure about going to the meeting?"
SPIKE-
"We said goodbye a long time ago. Kennedy, any ships in the area."
KENNEDY-
"Yup....one. A Federation Intrepid class scout ship."
GILES-
"That's her."
SPIKE-
"Come on, Captain."
TELLAFIN 5
Four transporter beams appear on the planet, two of the beams appeared opposite from the other two. Giles and Spike appear on one side, while Buffy and Anya appear on the other. Anya walks over and grabs Giles.
ANYA-
"Sunnydale. Two to beam directly to sick bay." After Giles and Anya disappear, Buffy runs up to Spike and kisses him.
BUFFY-
"I've missed you."
SPIKE-
"Me too."
While, everyone of the Sunnydale and the Raider believed that Buffy was trying to arrest Spike....they were making love instead. After they were finished, Buffy got dressed.
BUFFY-
"I love you."
SPIKE-
"No, you don't...but thanks for saying it."
BUFFY-
"Summers to Sunnydale...one to beam up." Spike watches as she disappears into the transporter beam.
SUNNYDALE
Buffy walks into Giles's reading room.
BUFFY-
"You needed to see me."
GILES-
"Buffy, yes. One, I wanted to say thank you. Two, I need a new first officer, and hearing how well you did in my absence. Buffy, will you be my first officer."
BUFFY-
"Absolutely." Giles smiles and replaces the dark pin on Buffy's collar with a third silver pin.
GILES-
"Computer, make a note. On this stardate, Buffy Anne Summers is promoted to Commander and assigned as first officer." The computer chimed in response. "We have none personel changes to do."
BUFFY-
"Really....."
An hour later, Giles and Buffy are in the conference room with the gang.
GILES-
"Lieutenant Willow Danielle Rosenberg, you are hereby promoted to Lieutenant Commander." Tara and Xander clap the loudest, making Willow giggle.
"Dr. Anya Jenkins, you are promoted to Lieutenant." Xander claps, louder than he did with Willow. "Ensign Dawn Joyce Summers, you are promoted to Lieutenant Junior Grade." This time, Buffy clapped loudly. After the announcements, everyone began to talk to each other, and Giles motioned Buffy over.
GILES-
"Buffy, I just got the name of our new tactical officer."
BUFFY-
"NEW tactical officer."
GILES-
"Yes, I moved Faith to security, your old position. The new tactical officer is....Ensign....."
BUFFY-
"Come on, Giles, you can do it."
GILES-
"Ensign Connor."
BUFFY-
"Oh....does Angel know that he is even in Starfleet."
GILES-
"I don't know....it's gonna to be interesting."
