Spike felt powerful. He hadn't felt this way since he
killed his first slayer, but he felt even more powerful.
He could feel it, he now was fully confident that when
he killed the first slayer she wasn't killed out of luck, It
was pure skill.
He licked the blood off his lips,
savoring the taste. Then he realized it was getting
close to sunrise, Dru would be getting worried. He ran
quickly to the place they both called home. But with
already consuming the blood of two slayers he was
hooked, fixated on getting more.
Much more.
"Dru, baby, guess what!"
"Spike where were you I was scared. And then Miss Edith went and said you were with the slayer.", she walked slowly up to him but the fear she had experienced was quite visible in her eyes."
"No need to fret luv, I’m here.", he went over and put his arms around her," I'll always be here."
She rested her head on his chest and relaxed, but still she was concerned."Spike what happened? Something’s changed, something about you is different."
Spike could not keep her waiting, if she wanted an answer, then she would get an answer." Well i guess it could be from the recent power boost of one especially annoying slayer."
She suddenly lifted up her head staring at him in awe. "You killed her?"
"Drained her dry."
" Oh Spike." she looked into his eyes with pure joy.
He came down and gave her a kiss, and she returned it hungrily. She could still taste the slayer's blood on his lips, and she liked it.
They lay down on their bed and cuddled.
"Spike I can see the stars. Their saying you'll find her."
" Who luv?"
The third. Slayer, you'll find her.
Spike grinned, "Hope so."
Drusilla lay in happiness until she felt something strange. She had never felt anything for a slayer, but now she felt something different, she felt hatred, hatred for the slayer that they would meet in the future. The odd thing was, she didn't know why.
