SUNNYDALE
Faith and Charly step through the vortex and appear in front of The Sun Theater again. This time they are in the day. Charly grabs a newspaper.
CHARLY-
"February 10, 1998. So what now?"
FAITH-
"You got me. You look like you're having fun."
CHARLY-
"It's interesting. I mean...Earth before the Big Freeze." Suddenly, a couple of girls run by.
GIRLS-
"XANDER!!!! I LOVE YOU!!!"
CHARLY-
"What was that about?"
FAITH-
"B told me about this. Xander used magic to make a girl like him, but it went wonky."
CHARLY-
"I still don't get it."
FAITH-
"We have to find Xander and see if Buffy's around."
CHARLY-
"Why?"
FAITH-
"To see if she has two legs or four and a tail."
Faith and Charly look through the window just as Amy turns Buffy into a rat. Giles runs in and they start looking for Buffy-rat.
CHARLY-
"Look...." She points at the library door just as Oz punches Xander. The Buffy-Rat is running out.
FAITH-
"We have to follow her. It's the perfect time to kill Buffy."
CHARLY-
"Yeah, she's a rat."
They follow Buffy-Rat into the basement. They duck behind some crates as Oz walks by.
OZ-
"Buffy...here, Buffy. I got cheese."
Faith's eyes see some movement, two of the soldiers come around the corner armed with machine guns. They move around and take the soldiers from behind. They send the soldiers back just as Buffy is turned back into herself...naked.
BUFFY-
"Oz. I seem to have a slight case of nudity here."
OZ-
"But you're not a rat. So, that's a plus."
FAITH (whispering)-
"Buffy never told me about that part." They disappear through the vortex.
