Old boyfriend, bad boyfriend.
A week had past and Buffy had done nothing else then swimming, running and skating.
It was saturday and Buffy had a day of.
Angel had to go to the hospital to visite his sick mother and Willow had a class to teach.
Cause in her spare time, she also gave away some free skating lessons.
But Buffy had nothing better to do then to train.
She had a boyfriend, but she broke it of three weeks ago, because he didn't like her training so much.
The fact that he was dangerous didn't please Buffy any more.
She liked him a lott, but she got more scared of him every day.
It was 7 a.m. and Buffy headed for the gym.
On her way she saw him, William, her old boyfriend.
He prefered to be called Spike, but she always called him Will, she didn't like the name Spike.
He was friendly when they first started to date, harmless, but then he started hanging out with some weird guys and now he was as weird as they were.
She walks right past him, he looks at her, she looks the other way.
A few minutes later he was gone, Buffy looked behind her and was scared almost half to death.
He was following her all this time.
"What do you want ?" she asked.
"I saw you, this past week, going to that house, to that guy, I saw how you couldn't stay away from him."
Buffy was mad, she turned around and pushed him.
"God! You've been spying on me ?!"
"Just for your own good, that guy isn't right for you, I am, I love you Buffy."
"Love me ?! You love me ?! We went out for 5 weeks, that isn't love talking, that's drugs."
She walked away.
"Buffy, please!" He called out.
But she ran away, into the gym.
Two hours later her mother picked her up.
Buffy had called her and told her what happened and that she didn't want to go home alone.
"Are you okay, sweety ?" Joyce asked
"I'm fine, I'm just a bit upset. He really was a good guy you know, before he joined that gang. I don't know, maybe I pushed him to far, I..."
"Buffy, you can't blame yourself, you only went out for 5 weeks, he must have had some troubles when you first met him and that is what pushed him to far. But now I think we should go to the pollice."
Buffy's face turned sour, she didn't expect her mother to say that.
After all, they both hated the pollice for 'accidentilly' shooting Buffy's father.
(=two years ago there was a hold up in a bank, their father was used as a protection shield for the robbers, the pollice shot her father.)
"No, mom, why ?"
"I hate the pollice as much as you do, but that boy is stalking you, it could get dangerous."
"No, I wont do it, no way, I won't worry about that while I have my skating to think about. In three weeks are the tryouts for the ollympics, if I make that, I'm going to the olympics, that's all I wanna worry about. I have to make those tryouts without the help of Willow, it's hard enough that I have that on my mind."
They drove the the rink, cause Buffy wanted to practice some more.
She did a tripple Axel and landed perfectly.
Her body moved like she was dancing, yet there was no music, but she could feel it in her bones.
'You skate with your heart, body and soul. Leave your mind at home.'
Her dad always said that to her.
He used to be a skater too, but then he busted his knee and couldn't skate anymore.
When Buffy was 6 years, he took her skating, she loved it from the start.
Everytime Buffy goes skating now, she says that little sentence and it would be as if her father was there with her.
Moving her across the ice, trough the air,...
Buffy must have lost track of time, cause she saw that it was already 7 pm.
She knew that Angel would be back by now and maybe he would be at Willow's house, preparing for tomorrow's training.
When she got to the house, she saw the door was open, she went in and saw that everything was smashed, the mirrors, stuffy lying on the floor.
She entered the swimming area and saw that Willow and Giles were tied up and knocked out.
She freaked out, she started to ran towards them but then saw that someone was lying in the pool, also knocked out.
It was Angel, he was drowning.
"OMG!"
She jumped in the pool and swam to him, there was blood everywhere, he was hit on the head.
She grabbed him and swam to the side.
He wasn't breathing, she pulled him up and laid him on the floor.
She began CPR.
After a minute or three he was breathing again and he awoke.
Buffy got up and untied Willow and Giles.
They were fine, just a bit shocked.
Buffy ran back to Angel and pulled him up.
He was coughing and had trouble breathing, he had to go to the hospital right away.
Giles grabbed his key and left with Angel, headed for the hospital.
"Good Luck!" Buffy yelled to them as they were driving of the driveway and Buffy was closing the door.
Willow had begun to clean, Buffy helped her.
Everything was broken, pictures were torn up, trofees were destroyed, and so on...
"Who did this to you ?" Buffy asked when she realized they were cleaning for almost an hour and she still hadn't asked who did it.
She figured that since Giles was going to the pollice, Buffy would know soon enough, but she was still curious.
"I...I don't know, a, a guy with white hair, it kinda looked like bleached hair. "
Buffy's eyes were suddenly filled with terror.
Her skin was so pale, it almost looked like she was gonna faint.
"Are you okay ?" Willow asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine, go on." she lied.
"I think he said his name was Spike or something, I don't know, but it looked like he was out to get Angel"
"No, he was out to get me..." Buffy stared right in front of her, she had an icy stare, she looked afraid and guilty at the same time...
