Time Frame: This story takes place right after "I Only Have Eyes For You" In fact, it is one day later. It doesn’t dwell much on what happened, just a passing reference. After that my story goes completely off cannon from the show. Well, there are a few similarities

Summary: Angel and Jenny team up in their soul-ish way and find a way for all to have a happy ending. Crappy summary I know but I don’t want to give anything away

Any and all feedback is appreciated but you don't have t if you don't want to, Okay, I am normally a fan of Buffy+Angel=yeah! But I thought I should start my writing career (if I get good feedback) with something semi-on canon If I get a little good feedback I will continue this story with a little Buffy/Angel romance. Be warned all of you who think Xander and Buffy should be together….I am the Official Keeper of the tape measurer to make sure Xander doesn't get within two feet of Buffy. Okay, I'm done, on to the story….

As the phone rang incessantly, Willow and Giles tore themselves away from the computer holding the puzzling spell. They still had not figured out what it was. Buffy, poor thing, kinda lacked in the research area and looked very tired so Giles had sent her home right after school let out. She had mumbled something about a nap and left. Giles picked up the library’s phone. "What is it already?" he demanded
"Giles! Its Buffy. You will not believe what just happened to me. Listen very carefully. Spike is going to show up the minute the sun comes down but don’t worry. Ahh! I only have ½ an hour. I was so tired I fell asleep. Angel visited me in my dreams. He said that the disk was the restoration spell and he and Jenny have been working together…"
"Buffy! Slow down, you aren’t making any sense. Now tell me again"
"No time! I will be there soon. Just don’t go anywhere" and with that Buffy hung up, grabbed her coat and dashed out the door.
Filled with adrenaline she made it there in less than 15 minutes. She figured that once the sun went down it would take Spike 10 minutes to get to the school. She just hoped Angel was right about all this.

"..and so we need to go to the store and get one of these Orbs. Got it?" said Buffy now breathless.
Willow and Giles exchanged confused glances. Normally they would’ve thought that the stress of the whole Angel thing would have gotten her confused. Then both of them remembered that Jenny had appeared to Willow and it clicked. They nodded.
"Good" said Buffy. She turned her head as the library door banged open and in walked Spike.
"Spike! Good to see you up and around again" said Buffy as she drew a stake.
"Wait! As much as I hate to say this, I’m not here to fight. Angel came to me in a …"
"Yea, yea, he came to me too. But, there is nothing wrong with a little insurance"
"Fine. Whatever. Let’s just get this done with. Although I hate Angelus a whole hell of a lot, you come in at a pretty close second."
"Feelings mutual, but I love Angel too much to pass this up. Giles, Spike and I will head to the store and pick up the Orb." said Buffy silently screaming at herself. Oh well, if Spike betrayed her she was sure she could handle him although if he died it would ruin their plan.
Spike and Buffy headed out the door while Willow jumped on the phone to call Xander, Cordelia, and Oz.

With a well-placed kick by both Spike and Buffy the door came down. They peered in and saw the place was deserted. Just as Angel said it would be. Buffy walked over to the counter and to the back self. She scanned for a wooden box with what looked like a new age paperweight. "Aha! Got it" said Buffy as she pulled it off the self. "Let’s go. Oh, and Spike? If you try anything that messes this up or hurts any of my friends, I will NOT hesitate to kill you. And it will be a slow and painful death."
"Fair enough but let me tell you something. Once this is over and Angel is back you are all fair game. And, if you even think of hurting Dru I will not hesitate to kill YOU. Got it?"
"Fine"
And they walked out the door

As Willow hung up the phone, Giles walked out of his office. "Any luck Willow?"
"Yea, she said she will be here in 18 hours"
"Very good"
Giles turned to Cordelia and Oz. "Do you understand?" They nodded. He then turned to Xander "And you?"
Xander nodded his head. Although he didn’t like Angel, he REALLY didn’t like Angelus.
Buffy and Spike breezed in through the door holding an oval shaped box.
"Is that it?" inquired Giles
Buffy nodded. wondered Giles.
"Is she coming?" Buffy asked
"What? Oh, yes, yes. 18 hours from now though."
"That’s okay, although I want to do it now. But, we need her, I know"
"So, lets work out the details. Spike, how long until Angel and Drusilla realize that you are missing?" asked Giles
"Oh they won’t. Trust me" said Spike bitterly.
"Very good. Okay everyone. Here goes."
The gang leaned in closer. It was going to work
