Mr. Trick walks up to Ethan. He looks at the hired crew for the Bird of Prey. Trick always liked to hire other people to do his work, but the price was true loyalty. If this attack fails, they could turn on them.
ETHAN-
"Weapons lock: engineering, shieldings, and weapons array. "
WEAPONS-
"Yes, sir."
TRICK-
"Standby to transfer energy from cloak to weapons. Transporter room get ready."
On the Sunnydale, Faith was study her readout. She looks over at Willow.
FAITH-
"Red, what do you think?"
WILLOW-
"Don't know....it's some kind of energy distortation. I think it's following us."
WESLEY-
"Report!"
WILLOW (rolling her eyes)-
"We have an energy distoration following us."
FAITH-
"Could be a cloaked ship."
WESLEY-
"Yes, Commander Lehane, raise our shields. (He taps his combadge) Captain Giles to the bridge."
A couple of minutes later, Giles walks onto the bridge followed by Buffy.
GILES-
"Yes, Wesley."
WESLEY-
"Captain, please address me by my rank."
GILES (sighs)-
"Okay...Commander, what in the hell do you got?"
WESLEY-
"Lieutenant Rosenberg and Commander Lehane have detected an energy distortation following us. I have order the shields raised." Giles walks over to Willow's console.
GILES-
"Good. Faith, power up the weapons...." His words are cut off by Faith.
FAITH-
"Bird of Prey decloaking to the stern." The ship is rocked by a torpedo hit.
Outside, the Bird of Prey is pounding the Sunnydale's engineering section with torpedoes and phasers. In the Sunnydale engineering, Xander is get up on his feet. Sparks erupt from the warp core, and it goes down. The Sunnydale drops out of warp.
XANDER-
"Giles, warp drive is off line. We only have impulse."
On the bridge, Dawn's console explodes and she is thrown to the deck hard, knocked off. Buffy rushes off to her.
GILES-
"Medical team to the bridge."
FAITH-
"Giles, are shields are down." Suddenly, Giles is transported off the ship. The Bird of Prey stops firing and jumps to warp, leaving the disabled Sunnydale behind.
