SUNNYDALE - 1997
Faith breaks the lock on the door to the back of the department store. She runs in and grabs two pair of blue jeans, some shirts, and a couple of jackets. Faith runs back outside and hands Charly some clothes. Faith moves over to a dumpster and starts taking off her clothes.
CHARLY-
"Are you sure about this?"
FAITH-
"We have to blend in. These clothes might be on every cover in 2519, but in 1997...they look a little weird." After changing clothes, they begin to walk down the street.
CHARLY-
"Where do we start?"
FAITH-
"Don't know....we came here for a reason, I mean to this day."
CHARLY-
"What happens on this day?"
FAITH-
"Don't know. The orginal me doesn't come to Sunnydale for more than another year."
CHARLY-
"So, who is here?"
FAITH-
"The orginal Scooby Gang. Wait....that's it. Whatever is going to happen, it involves them."
CHARLY-
"So, where do we go?"
FAITH-
"The high school....the library."
After Faith and Charly reach the library, they look into one of the overhead windows. Buffy, Giles, and some women Faith doesn't know is there. Charly cracks open the window to here.
GILES-
"Buffy, you were right. I have spent way too much time with this books, I have forgotten what the real world is like." Suddenly, Buffy punches Giles, knocking him.
BUFFY-
"When he wakes up, tell him....well, think of something cool and tell him I said it."
WOMAN (JENNY)-
"You face the Master, you'll die."
BUFFY-
"Yeah, but maybe I can take him with me."
Faith and Charly closes the window.
FAITH-
"I don't get....Buffy wins."
CHARLY-
"Yeah, but she still died didn't she....I mean for a few minutes."
FAITH-
"Yeah....."
CHARLY-
"Let's follow Buffy. I have a feeling I know what the soldier boys wanted."
FAITH-
"What?"
CHARLY-
"They're going to stop Buffy from being killed."
FAITH-
"And the bad in that?"
CHARLY-
"Faith, if Buffy doesn't die by the hands of The Master...Kendra would not be called, and neither will you."
