ONE YEAR LATER...
The Intrpid class starship Sunnydale cruises through a nebula. On the bridge, Giles is watching the science scan.
GILES (sighs)-
"Willow...anything, anything at all interesting?"
WILLOW-
"No. Just your normal everyday Nebula."
WESLEY (being dramatic)-
"Ah, yes...that is when things get dangerous."
WILLOW-
"Uh, no Commander....just a neubla."
WESLEY-
"Lieutenant Rosenberg, trust me....I have studied numbers of battle simulations."
GILES-
"Well, before we issue a red alert, let's scan the rest of the nebula. Dawn, set course for 149 mark 359."
DAWN-
"Adjusting course." Out of everyone, Dawn and Xander had been the most thrilled about the Sunnydale-A. The helm control and engines were ten times better than the old Sunnydale.
Down in engineering, Anya has getting in Xander's way.
XANDER-
"Sweety, can you talk about this latter."
ANYA-
"No...no we can't. I want to know where our relationship is going."
XANDER-
"What are you talking about? Our relationship i sgoing fine."
ANYA-
"So says you."
XANDER-
"What?! Look Anya, I have to remix the antimatter/matter containment....I....we will talk later."
ANYA-
"Yeah, it's always later for you." She storms out of engineering, leaving a very belwildered Xander.
In Holodeck One, Buffy takes a punch to the ribs. She reaches out and stakes the vampire. She hated when it was Faith's turn to choose holo-program. Faith, on the other hand, was having a blast.
FAITH-
"WOO! I got three...how many you got?"
BUFFY-
"Two....I hate this program."
FAITH-
"Oh, come on. Being security chief, I thought you'd love this program."
BUFFY-
"Faith, look at my forehead....do I look like a Klingon?"
FAITH-
"No...."
BUFFY-
"Faith, look...I know you were trained for security, and it sucks for you to be tactical, but....."
FAITH-
"Don't worry about it, B. Computer: end program." The graveyard around them disappears and it is replaced by grid walls. "I just use this to keep my relexes sharp. It's been a year since the Borg, and nothing has happened."
Watching the Sunnydale from behind on a viewscreen, Ethan sits in the commander's chair in his cloaked Klingon Bird of Prey. It's almost time.
