A/N: Thanks for the reviews! ^^

Kitty fidgeted under the accusing glares she was receiving. Angel had called the whole group there. Fred, Wesley and Gunn stood at Angels side in front of her, while Lorne and Spike were behind her. She began to think what she was going to say.

“Well…” She started, and before anyone could say something she was gone. The group looked around the office, all except Angel. “Damn it!” He growled.

“Can’t say I didn’t see that coming.” Spike muttered under his breath. Angel looked up at the group.

“Find her!” He growled. Wesley, Fred, Gunn and Lorne all left the room at that point.

“Y’know.” Spike said sitting on the couch. “she’s not going to tell us anything she doesn’t want to.”

“I didn’t ask for your opinion on this Spike.” Angel replied sitting behind his desk. “Spike, what if Cordelia didn’t send her? What if she’s here just to tear us apart. Not Wolfram and Hart. Us.”

----
The laugh echoed through the empty corridors. She wish she could have saw their faces when she had left. She let out a sigh. That was close. Too close, how was she suppose to explain to them what she was? She could just imagine that conversation and not only would it raise a whole load of question, she would have to sit there for hours listening to their ramblings.

“Having fun, pet?” a familiar British voice came from behind her. She turned around to see piercing blue eyes staring at her.

“H-h-how did you find me?” She asked. He just smirked at her.

“Vampire? Remember.” She just nodded. “Angels royally pissed off now thanks to you and your li’l disappearing act.” he took a cigarette out of the pocket of his duster and lit up. He took a long drag out the cigarette before speaking again. “Got everybody looking for you. Of course the great poof didn’t take a minute to think he could just sniff you out.” he took another drag. “That’s not the way to gain their trust y’know.”

“I know.” she said. “I wish I could tell them who I am what I am but I can’t it will raise to many questions that I don’t know the answer too.” Spike just shrugged.

“It doesn’t bother me.” He then stubbed the cigarette out. “But yet again, I’m not the one you need to impress am I?” Spike then looked upwards and then back again at Kitty. “if you were really sent by Cordelia. Prove it.” Spike then turned on his heel and walked away.

----

Angel glared at the woman in front of him. He wasn’t let her out of his sights not for a minute. “You have some explaining to do.”

Kitty stared at the man, well vampire to be correct and let out a sigh. “I know my disappear trick wasn’t the best idea, but.” She paused for a minute and took a deep breath. “I can’t tell you who or what I am, but I can assure you Cordelia sent me and to prove it I’ll take you to her.” Angel stared at the girl as if she had grown a second head.

“Y-y-you’ll what?” He asked.

“I’ll take you to her. Wesley’s spells to contact a higher being won’t work, they don’t allow creatures such as yourself and him contact them. So I’ll take you to her.” She paused again. “but, I must ask you do this one thing. You need to keep out of sight I can’t have any other higher being so much as sensing you or I will…” She choked a bit.

“Be killed?” She nodded. “Ok, take me to her.” with that said Kitty reached out and took Angels hand.

----

Lorne was beginning to worry about Angel, lately he had seemed so distant. As he rounded one of the many corridors of Wolfram and Hart he also began to wonder if it had anything to do with a certain blonde vampire. Lorne shook his head at that.

Of course it had nothing to do with Spike, Angel never let Spike bother him. Except, when it came to a certain Slayer. Lorne was know expert in romance but he knew what Buffy and Angel had, had was special. It was love, but yet again. Could what Buffy and Spike have had been love as well?

It could have been, he wasn’t there to witness it was he? But yet again Angels recent constant brooding could have something to do with their new guest as well and the fact that she claims the Cordelia sent her.

Maybe that was it, the mentioning of Angels recent lost had made him think more about therefore causing more broodyness? It didn’t matter what was causing Angel to be more distant than usual because Lorne was going to get to the bottom of it sooner or later.

----

Angel couldn’t believe it. He had saw her. Cordelia. He had saw her and he had spoken to her. The conversation didn’t last long due to the fact he wasn’t suppose to be there, but he had spoken to her. He let out a sigh.

It looked like he was going have to except Kitty’s help when she offered it. Cordelia was right, he didn’t have time to pick and choose his allies right now especially after what she had told him.

----

Spike walked into his apartment to find Kitty sitting on his couch waiting on him. He closed the front door and sat next to her. They didn’t say a word to each other for a couple of minutes until he finally asked:

“What do you want?”

“Nothing, just need a place to crash thought you wouldn’t mind the company.” She replied.

“You thought wrong. I do mind. Get out.” She frowned at that.

“I have no where else to go.”

“Ever heard of a hotel? Or even a motel?”

“I don’t have any money and Angel left before I could ask him for a place to stay. It will only be for tonight.” he let out a sigh. God he really had gone soft.

“Fine!” She then smiled at him. “But your sleeping on the couch!” she began to pout. “Don’t you try that on me!” he said standing up and walking into the bedroom.
