So we walked and met J’onn, we talked for awhile about my plan and he know from the mind scan that I wanted to get in touch with batman on my problem so he already placed the call, J’onn said it would be a while because batman was dealing with a pressing matter at Arkham Asylum, but time wasn’t something that I really wanted to wasted as of right now. So I made the decision to head down to Arkham myself. Besides I’ve always wanted to see this place anyway. So off I flow to the partly northern outskirts of Gotham City, to the large estate that housed the Most Famous Asylum of all time. The front to the compound was a wreck the windows smashed out from the inside and the front gate blown off, from the outside. Then I saw it, the Batmobile, it was sitting just in front of the front steps. I guessed that it was the Batmobile that blow the doors off. As I landed I looked into the front gate it was dark and hard to see anything so I just used my new Ring to light my way. The Asylum was completely trashed It looks almost abandoned, everyone of the worker must of ran for there lives, all the cells where opened as I walked from hallway to hallway.
“Woo…the inmates are running the place…. no good will come from this.” I said to myself softly
As I continued I tried to list all the villains that I know where in here, Two-face, Poison Ivy, Killer Croc, Scare Crow, Lock-Up, Scar face…and his puppeteer, I can’t remember if Mr. Freeze is in here or not, and Of course The Joker and Harley Quinn. Not to mention all the Psychos and Serial Killers that aren’t ever talked about. I read some of the Arkham Books; I would have been scared stiff if it wasn’t for my newly acquired powers. I was pretty sure I could take anything that came at me….. or at least I hoped anyway, only Psychos in here not real Super villains. As I walked to through the halls I made my way to the shock therapy room where I started to hear a Voice, I looked into the window to see some of the inmates had tied down one of the doctors. It looked to be the Scare Crow leading them, betting that he was doing one of his fear tests on him. So I just couldn’t let it happen. I first turned off my ring so the wouldn’t have a clue that I wasn’t more then a normal guy… I just busted throw the door, and slammed the first guy I saw into the wall by his face. And said “Ok you loser, let at guy go and you won’t have to end up in the Hospital”
They just laughed…. and with the great ace up my sleeve I had, I was laughing right along with them. And then I just gave my good old smile that makes people think I’m a Serial Killer myself. A few of them shied back a little, but then Scare Crow yelled. “Attack Him you retards, he’s just some no one. Get him!!!”
As they charge me I just flash on the rings power and start just mopping the floor with them. The first few I just use my ring to blasted them out the window. Next I use the ring to form chains and just tie up most of goons and slam them into the walls knocking them out. Scare crow tried to jump me from behind, which didn’t really do much good because I just willed a giant hand to grab him off my back and kind of flatten him up against the wall. I floated up looked him in the eyes and said, “Where is Batman?!?!”, But he just laughed. So I Formed the hand into more of a Claw and It started to dig it’s nails into the wall and it broke through the wall and started to crush him in a tight grip and then it started to form into a giant monster thingy…something I’m sure would put fear into even the Scare Crow. Then slammed him into the wall again, this time the thing and I looked really mad…
“Ok now I’m not going the ask this again” I said in my most convincing Batman Voice, “Where…. Is…. Batman!!!”
“They have Him in the Mess Hall last I know….I had more important things to do.” The Scare Crow said.
“…So I see,” I said as I looked around. I saw the fear powder on the counter and floated down to get a hold of it. “Hmmm…. I’m going to take this just to make sure it doesn’t fall into the wrong hands.” Plus it could come in handy “And as for you…. well I think this will do” as I finished I said made the creature open up a near by cell and slammed him into it and forced the door shut. From that point I made my way to the mess hall this time Just flying, I unformed the creature and just speed down the halls. As I got to the mess hall I could see that most of the before named Psychos where standing around. The leader of the Inmates was Smiley himself……….The Joker…he was standing in the Middle of everyone, and I saw that he was standing over Batman who was knocked out and tied to one of those Hospital bed. I stopped myself from glowing, but kept flying. I wanted to see who and what was all going on before I go running head on into Villain-palusa. As a waited I could hear the Joker
“HAHAHAHA!!!! Well, well, well Bats, It looks like you finally got what’s coming to you. Hahaha Oh this is going to be great…. but I want you to be a wake for this. Wakey, Wakey Bats!!!!”
The Joker continued to laugh as he clapped Batman awake. After about Five slaps Batman awoke up. As I watched Harley Quinn walked around and started to talk.
“So what we going to do pudding?”
“Well Harl,” Joker started “I think we should just have fun and see who Bratman really is” The crowd of Inmates cheered as they hear this... But me on the other hand I wasn’t going to let this go. I’m sure he could handle himself just find, I mean He’s Batman, but I really didn’t have the time to wait for him to make is invariable move that Bad guys won’t see coming. So I decided to have a little fun with the Joker, I thought I can do clowns and formed My favorite clown I could think of…I formed The Ringmaster, from the ICP comics as I remember reading it…The look on the Jokers face as a giant ten foot tall monster clown picked him was priceless. With that I flew into the room looking at everyone in it.
“A Green Lantern, Oh that so cheating Bats” the Jokers yelled
“Well don’t get mad Bozo I came looking for him” I said “you know Joker you are one of the best villains I know of…. but you’re in my way.” As I said this I made the ringmaster I formed lower him to met me eye to eye. “See Joker I know scarier clowns then you I’m one of them and this big ass friend here is another”
“Well that Nice for you…no account pipsqueak…. but I’m not here alone if you haven’t forgotten.” The Joker shouted
“Yeah well I’m not as nice as Batman is.” As I said that I made the Ringmaster Squeeze harder on the Joker “and I really don’t care about what happens to you I’m after my own goals right now”
All the Joker did was gulp, then looked at me and laughed, “I like you Kid you Got spunk!! So what do you want with Batman??”
“He is the only one of the Justice League the that can do what I need.” I said “…….and that’s all you need to know!! Oh yeah as for all the other people in this place you said about”
I formed two more Giant clowns on both sides of the room, from some of my own drawings.
“I don’t think they will be a problem…..” I finished.
“Well…. hmmm…. looks like you can take Batman and go then.” Joker said
“Yes I know” I said as a formed a blade to cut batman free, “ but you are all going back into your cells now!”
The clowns I had formed grabbed a table in each hand. As they walked to the rest of the Inmates, the only thing the inmates did was whine they know that they couldn’t do anything about it. And a forced them all into ten of the nearest cells. Then the doors closed, and I welded parts of metal to them. I turned to Batman, who looked somewhat pissed at me.
“I don’t know who you are, but I didn’t need your help.” Batman said
“I know that, I need your help, and I don’t really want to wait for mister ego to slip up so you could take him down.” I stated.
“………………For what reason do you need my help.” Batman said coldly
“You’re the Smartest for the Justice league, I would even say you mind is your superpower…i just need you help with some information I’m getting from S.T.A.R. labs, well and one other thing.”
“Batman to watchtower…”
“J’onn here”
“I need a containment group to Arkham”
“Understood”
“Batman Out”
As I stood there As Batman looked at me all he would do is stare at me. I’m sure he was eyeing up my weaknesses. Then started walking out of the asylum. He turned back and looked at me.
“Are you coming?” Batman asked
“Yeah, right behind you”
So, as I jumped into that Batmobile we peeled out of Arkham’s front lot. It was kind of odd…. well like anything that has happened to me so far has been normal…but this was different. Batman was Truly one of my heroes, and now I was sitting in his car riding off to the Batcave…or at least I guessed that’s where we where going….
“Ummm, I don’t know if you heard my little problem, but I know who you really are, so if we just head back you your mansion I can explain what’s going on.” I said waiting for him to reacted or something, but I guess he didn’t seem surprised or just didn’t care.
The Batmobile just One-eightied and headed down a long dark road close to the coast line, and he headed straight into a stone cliff wall………the Batcave entrance.
As it pulled up to the turnstile the top slid open and batman jumped out. I hopped out myself….
“OK, Explain to me what this is all about will you………” batman said coldly
So I did, I repeated what has happened for the like hundredth time, I didn’t say a word about having to repeat it so many time to everyone else, I really didn’t want to piss him off… I also explained my other part of the plan that only J’onn know so far, which I also needed his help. It seemed he didn’t either care or understand what exactly what I was doing, but he gave me that information I needed.
“Ok here you go, all the information you need is on this disk,” Batman said as he pulled out a disk from the Batcomputer. Gave it, and a small crest as well. “NOW, what about Lobo,”
“Well I need someone who can pay him if we can’t. And yes he will be needed, in the other world there are Demons Straight from hell…..and will Lobo is Meaner then that….”
Batman just stared at me, but then went back to the computer, and hit the intercom.
“Batman to watchtower, I need two to transport”
“Understood”
And with that we both where teleported to the main deck of the watchtower,
“Oh John, finally!……oh my, ummm hello umm Mr. Wah…. Batman” Wesley said.
“Yeah Wes, I’m back, what’s up”
“Ummm, oh yes…. its Illyria, she ummm”
“Yeah what’s wrong?”
“Oh nothing wrong just she is in the Training Gym, and well she is more powerful then I would of ever thought.”
“Oh…yeah well I would of thought that. Lets go see her.” I said as I walked away from Batman and to the gym area, “Umm, see you around Batman” I added as I walked, Wesley fallowed just behind.
“So what’s he like? Bit like angel I would guess.”
“No Angel doesn’t scare me, Batman on the other hand…….” I said, “but he seemed ok though.”
As we walked into the gym we could see Lobo standing there as Illyria was punching a pressure sensor, every time she hit it, it read One thousand pounds. Most of the time Lobo Just laughed. Superman was stand off to the side looking at the chart readout the computer beside them was printing,
“Wow, Illyria you seem to be doing just fine. In fact you look better the ever I have seen you” I said.
“Yes” Superman stated, “All her powers are fully intact, and her temporal forces are no longer over stressed, she is in no danger of self exploding. Her Time displacement ability is very interesting, it took Flash twenty minutes to figure out how was to speed himself up to counter acted it.”
“How long did it take you Sups’? “ I asked
“ Five, but I watched flash do it first so I already know how I should go about it.” Superman said “but all and all Illyria is very impressive”
“HA yeah but her Punch really isn’t nothing” Lobo said
“Oh really, one thousand pounds isn’t strong” Wesley snapped
Lobo just punched the sensor half-heartedly, the Number read five Hundred thousand pounds.
“Oh” Wesley said mouth opened.
“See Wes, that’s why we want him,” I said.
“You are sure you can trusted him,” said superman
“Well he’s a man of his word” I said, “ he wants paid, we can trusted him.”
Lobo just laughed, he seemed to enjoy the fact that I keep shooting down all the man of steels comments to not use Him for this mission.
“Well Wes, Illyria I think we have stayed as long as we needed in this world line, I think it just about time we headed back, but first back to Newark, New Jersey. We still have one more person to pick up.”
