MARS - 2519
Strangelove leads them into a large cave. At the center is a large swirling vortex.
CHARLY-
"Was is it?"
STRANGELOVE-
"A time rift. Using this equipement we can send anyone or anything to anytime we want."
FAITH-
"How?"
STRANGELOVE-
"You just imput our destination - time and place - on this key pad...and whoosh!"
KENNEDY-
"How the hell does that work?"
STRANGELOVE-
"It would take hours to explain it to you."
ANGEL-
"So, why do you need us?"
STRANGELOVE-
"Because I have already been to this time. Hide..." He ducks behind a console. Suddenly, the team's ship blows up, and then they hide. A group of soldiers enter the cave, and one of them sits at the time console. The tag of his jacket reads 'Grissom.'
GRISSOM-
"Colonel Hawkins...we are ready."
HAWKINS-
"Imput the time vectors. All fifteen of them." A group of soldiers step through the rift, two at a time....and finally Hawkins steps through last. Grissom was the last one. Charly walks up to him....and she knocks him out.
CHARLY-
"Strangelove...what in the fuck did they do?"
STRANGELOVE-
"They went back in twelve different times....we are...."
KENNEDY-
"Angel....where's Angel." He was gone.
STRANGELOVE-
"Apprently, they changed something...your friend doesn't exist anymore. The only reason we know this is that the energy from the rift shields us from changes in the timeline....indirectly. You go back and find out what they did...then come back here. Take this." Strangelove hands Charly a small box. "You can use this to get back."
CHARLY-
"Okay...me and Faith are going. Chappelle, Phelps, and Kennedy stay here."
KENNEDY-
"Bugger that....I'm going."
CHARLY-
"No...we don't know with we'll come out during the day or night. Ready, babe?"
FAITH-
"Ready."
STRANGELOVE-
"Wait...this is very important. Do not make contact with anyone...espically yourselves. You could do more damage."
Charly and Faith nod and step through the rift. They come out in Sunnydale, California in front of the Sun Theater.
CHARLY-
"Where...and when....are we?"
FAITH-
"Earth....Sunnydale. (She picks up a newspaper) June 2, 1997."
