Joyce trips and Giles catches her. She didn't have time to change clothes before going to Giles, so her business suit and heels were giving her trouble. She looks around the fog filled cementary. It still amazes her that Buffy does this night after night. Giles leads her to a large crypt.
GILES-
"There it is. By that tree."
JOYCE-
"Rupert...that ground has been distrubed." He runs up to the spot. The container has been dug up.
GILES-
"It's gone." Suddenly, three vampires jump out. Giles brings out a cross, but one of the vamps knocks him down. Joyce runs as a vampire tries to grab her. She reaches inside her bag....the stake and the cross aren't there. She grabs a can of hairspray and a lighter instead. She flicks on the lighter and sprays the hairspray. A small flame covers the vampire's head, and soon he catches fire. The vampire explodes. His buddies run off and Joyce helps Giles up.
GILES-
"Brillant, knocked out again."
JOYCE-
"Does that happen a lot?"
GILES-
"Yes...."
JOYCE-
"No, not getting knocked out again...the vampires."
GILES-
"That too. (pauses) The container is gone, which means that the ritual will begin soon."
JOYCE-
"What do we do now?"
GILES-
"We need Buffy."
JOYCE-
"No....for years I have sat on the sidelines watching my daughter fight the forces of evil with her friends. She's busy right now....this is my turn."
