In Enterprise's sick bay, Borg-Willow and Borg-Dawn are trapped behind security force fields. Tara walks up to Willow's and the Borg looks at her. Tara looks in her still human eye. There was nothing there, that sparkling in Willow's eyes that made her fall in love her in the begining....it was gone. Tara was now looking at an eye that resembles a dead person's eyes. Cold and dark.
WILLOW-
"YOU WILL BE ASSIMILATED." Anya walks up behind Tara.
ANYA-
"Chatty isn't she?" Tara ignores Anya's comment.
TARA-
"Can you help them. Turn them back to how they were." Crusher joins them, she quickly scans Willow with a tricorder.
CRUSHER-
"I think we can....she may have to have her left forearm replaced with a bionoic arm. And Ensign Summers, will probably lose her right eye. Besides that they will be physical like they were. That reminds me, Lieutenant Maclay. You and Commander Summers have an appointment with Consular Troi in a half hour."
TARA-
"Is that necessary?"
CRUSHER-
"All she wants to do is talk."
ANYA-
"Come on, Troi has the job you do Tara."
TARA-
"I know...."
Thirty minutes later, Tara is sitting across from Deanna Troi. The Enterprise officer was famous for her love of desserts, espically chocolate. Tara was amazed she could keep her figure.
TARA-
"Commander Troi, I....."
TROI-
"Please, Tara. From one consular to another, you can call me Deanna."
TARA-
"Deanna, I'm not sure want to say. Funny....I do this job on the Sunnydale."
TROI-
"You know, people in our line of work are the last ones to think that they need help."
TARA-
"Isn't Buffy suppose to be here?"
TROI-
"Commander Summers didn't make her appointment. Maybe she'll feel better talking to you. Which brings us to that subject...how are you?"
TARA-
"Scared. I was doing okay until I...I looked into Willow's eyes. The love wasn't there...she doesn't know me."
TROI-
"It may seem that way now. But, after Beverly and Geordi remove the implants, she be Willow again. She's very important to you isn't she."
TARA-
"She's my everything."
Back in sick bay, Buffy looks at Dawn. While Tara just wanted them back....Buffy wanted more. She was going to make them pay for this. Even if she has to steal or buy a ship and destroy every Borg Cube in the Alpha and Delta Quadraints, they will all die.
On the Bridge of the Enterprise, Data turns his chair to face Picard.
DATA-
"Captain, sensors have picked up a Borg Cube....heading this way."
PICARD-
"They're coming to get them back."
