A Dream Come True.
Cathy.
Buffy comes out of the bathroom and finds her daughter crying in a corner of her bedroom.
"Cathy ?!" Buffy runs to her daughter.
"Honey, what's wrong ?" Buffy asks real worried.
The girl is crying, she turns her head, but Buffy turns it back to her.
"Sweetheart, it's alright, whatever it is, you can tell me."
"I... I saw something... something bad... hellmouthy." Cathy says.
"Hellmouth... how do you know about the hellmouth ? It's long gone, from before you were born, you shouldn't know it excisted, you shouldn't even know what it is." Buffy says worried.
"I know mommy, I've always know what the hellmouth is, what you are, a slayer, I see things, lots of things, like before, but it were always things of the past, your past, never the future, never this bad. It's worse then Angel, Angelus I mean, worse then The First."
"Cathy, come here, how do you know about Angel ? How do you know about The First ? How long have you been seeing these things ? If you knew about Angel, then why did you ask who he was when I called out his name ?" Buffy had all sorts of question, which made her forget that her daughter is only 11 years old, she may not have all the answers Buffy wants.
"I've been having these dreams since the night of my 10th birthday, I just thought I was a freak at first, so, I didn't want to tell you, but the more dreams I had, the more it came clear to me that I was being prepared. I never had dreams of the future, and it were alwas dreams, when I was asleep, never when I was awake, like just now." Cathy says.
"Prepared for what ? And again, why did you ask me who Angel was ?" Buffy is pushing her daughter, maybe to far, but she doesn't care, she's numb.
"I was being prepared for now, the vision I just had, a vision, not a dream. And I asked who Angel was because I didn't want to tell you about me till it was the right time. Now."
"Oh..." Buffy backs away, she realizes she was asking to much to quick.
"Mommy, I'm scared, for what's to come, for what I am..." Cathy cries again.
Buffy takes her daughter and puts her on her lap.
"It'll be fine, I promisse you." Buffy tries to reasure her.
"It's all connected you know, those dreams you're having of Angel, how real they are, my vision, it's all connected." Cathy says, leaving Buffy a bit stunned.
