SUNNYDALE - 1873
Xander walks down the dusty street to the Town Marshall's office. He opens the door, and sees a very beautiful burnette leaning back in the chair, with her feet popped up.
XANDER-
"Hi, I'm Xander Harris. I'm new to town and I'm starting a new business. Just wondering if you had any rules I need to know about."
FAITH-
"Faith Lehane. B. will be back soon."
XANDER-
"Are you a Marshall?"
FAITH-
"No....I just help the girl out from time to time. Okay, here's the deal. No guns in town, no fighting, no pissing in public, and no asking me out."
XANDER-
"Oh....okay. Since you brought up the subject...is the hotel owner, is she seeing anyone."
FAITH-
"Oh...you're a brave man. No, she's single."
XANDER-
"Can you tell Marshall Summers I stopped by?"
FAITH-
"Sure."
Xander walks out and he hears his name called out. He turns and sees a young preacher walking up to him.
PREACHER-
"Mr. Harris, it's so good to see you. I'm Caleb, the pastor for this town. I hope I'll see you on Sunday."
XANDER-
"Sure." Xander walks away.
CALEB (whispering)-
"Oh, yes....You'll hear my sermon soon enough."
