CALLISTO - 2516
Phelps makes her way around to the door. Standing there were two guards. She sticks her head into the doorway and yells at them. She then runs back out, and the guards follow her. Right after they get outside, Granger and Chappelle takes them down. The group runs into the room.
CHARLY-
"Okay, Faith..the President's quarters are that way. Granger and O'Neil, stay here and make sure we can get to a ship. Chappelle and Phelps get the ship ready. Angel, Kennedy, and Hargove go down that tunnel and disable the auto turrets on the outside of the base., if those guns are still working, their just shoot us down when we take off."
FAITH-
"What about you?"
CHARLY-
"Clement's office is that way."
Everyone goes there seperate ways.
Angel, Kennedy, and Hargrove walk carefully into the room. Suddenly, a burst of gunfire opens up and Hargrove catches a round in the forehead. He was dead before he hit the floor. Angel grabbed his rifle and shot back, hitting his target. Kennedy runs up to the controls, but they have been locked. She takes one of her swords and plunges it deep into the console. The console explodes and Kennedy is electruted. She is blasted across the room. Outside, the guns go into the resting position. Angel runs over to Kennedy.
ANGEL-
"Kennedy!!!!"
KENNEDY-
"Bloody hell....bad move, bad move...."
ANGEL-
"You okay?"
KENNEDY-
"Ah, peachy with a side a keen."
ANGEL-
"Come on let's get back to the others."
Charly approaches Clement's office with her pistol at the ready. Suddenly, a gun barrel is pressed against the back of her neck.
GUARD-
"Move!" The guard takes her weapons and escorts her into the Clement's office. He is polishing a sword, and he waves for the guard to leave.
CLEMENT-
"Maclay, what do you think of me? I bet that a soldier like yourself thinks that I just push papers and sign orders. I'm also an expert swordsman." He slids another sword towards Charly. She picks it up. "Let's see how you do."
Clement charges and Charly barely has enough time to block it. He follows through and backhands Charly in the mouth. She steps back, blocking his sword as blood fills her mouth. Clement was good....Charly dodges and let's out a scream as his sword cuts her left arm. He follows with a swallow cut to her ribs and as she spins around, to her back. Clement then grabs her and hits her in the face with the hilt of his sword. Blood pours down her face. She gets up and starts running. She takes cover behind a couch. Clement plunges the sword through the couch.....and suddenly Charly pops up and slices Clement's head in two. He falls to the floor, dead. She throws the sword down.
CHARLY-
"I am resigning my commission....bitch." She leaps off, beaten and bloody....but alive. She hopes that Faith has no luck than she did.
