The three starhships are approaching the planet with the Enterprise in the middle and leading. The Galaxy class Titan is on the port, while the much smaller, but more armored and armed Defiant is on the starboard.
ENTERPRISE
On the bridge, Snyder is sitting in the center seat, with Picard in the right seat and Fred in the left. Ortiz is occupying his previous position at tactical. Giles is standing on the upper deck on the bridge, while Buffy is looking over Ortiz's shoulder. With the planet so close to Cardassen space, she didn't want to engage in a battle so close to their objective.
SNYDER-
"Helm, make your course 030 mark 015." Picard looks over, those coordinates would miss the planet.
PICARD-
"Admiral, that is not an orbital tragectory."
SNYDER-
"Yes, Captain. Dully noted. Helm, make it so."
PICARD-
"Admiral that course will.....will take us into Cardassen space."
SNYDER-
"I'm in command, Captain."
PICARD-
"Sir, I must protest...."
SNYDER-
"YOU ARE RELIEVED CAPTAIN!....Commander Ortiz, raise shields and ready the weapons array."
ORTIZ-
"Uh.....yes, Admiral."
DEFIANT-
Nog was scanning his tactical display, when the Enterprise raised her shields and powered her weapons.
NOG-
"Sir, the Enterprise has changed course towards Cardassen space....and their shields and weapons are up."
WORF-
"Contact Enterprise...ask for clarification."
TITAN-
WESLEY-
"Yes, sir. Enterprise has gone to battle stations. Admiral Snyder is ordering us to do the same."
RIKER-
"Something's not right. Raise Shields and power the weapons array." Riker walks up to Wesley at the tactical console. "Wes, make a primary firing solution for our bow...but also make a secondary firing solution."
WESLEY-
"Target?"
RIKER-
"Make your secondary....Enterprise."
