Picard sits in his chair on the main bridge, watching the wheel shaped space station come into view. Deep Space Nine was orginally a Cardassian station, until the Bajoran rebels ended the occuption. As the Enterpise slid into a mooring station, Ortiz and his new counselor, Lieutenant Commander Winifred Brinkle got up and headed to the gangway hatch. Picard followed.
On the station, Picard and Giles heads for to operations. As they get off the elevator, Commander Worf and Colonel Kira Nerys march up and greet them.
PICARD-
"Mr. Worf....it's good to see you again."
WORF-
"Yes, sir. I will be commanding the Defiant, just as Admiral Snyder ordered. He should be here within the hour."
GILES-
"Snyder is coming here?"
WORF-
"Yes, sir. He is on the Titan."
On the promenade, Dawn was getting an eye full of different cultures. Willow walked next to her...they were just killing time so that Buffy and Tara could check in. They enter an establishment called Quark's and they sit down at the bar. They each order a root beer, and they start to look around. The Ferengi behind the bar comes up after Willow tips the bartender.
QUARK-
"Welcome to my establishment. For just a few pieces of latium, I could provide you two with a holosuite."
DAWN-
"No thanks...we're just waiting for the Titan to show up."
WILLOW-
"Dawnie...TMI."
QUARK-
"So, what's going on with the Titan?" Suddenly, a female voice warns Quark to leave them alone. The Trill walks over and introduces herself, Lieutenant Enzri Dax.
WILLOW-
"Dax? I knew a Jadzia Dax....wait....." Dax smiles and hugs Willow.
DAX-
"That's the reason I came in. I remember you....how's Tara?"
WILLOW-
"She's good. Her and Buffy are checking in. How have you been?"
DAX-
"Good....I mean the war was difficult out here, and the disappearence of our commanding officer. Other than that....good."
DAWN-
"He disappeared? What happened?"
DAX-
"Captain Sisko went into the wormhole, but never came out. No one is sure what happened. Come on, I think that Julian still is in one of the holosuites. I do warn you though, his programs can get a little....rough."
