It was time for Dawn to go to school, and Xander was running late. Just before Buffy called Xander, Michael and KITT pull up into the driveway.
BUFFY-
"Michael, can you do me a favor? Can you give us a ride so I can drop Dawn off at school?"
MICHAEL-
"Yeah...sure....but I thought it was urgent to do the research on this vampire?"
KITT-
"Michael, I can take Dawn to school, while you and Buffy talk."
BUFFY-
"You sure."
KITT-
"It will be a pleasure." Dawn hops into the driver's seat and rolls down the window.
DAWN-
"Wait until everyone see me in this." KITT drives off with Dawn, leaving Buffy and Michael standing on the front lawn.
Dawn is listening to the radio, doing her homework as KITT drives her to school. Dawn had plenty of time, so she asked KITT if they could take a more scenic route. As they near a large curve along a deep embankment that leads down to a small beach. Suddenly, a black van comes out of nowhere and slams into KITT's passenger door. The force of impact sends KITT and Dawn over the edge of the embankment. Dawn is knocked out as KITT rolls down the hill. He finally stops on the beach, upside down. The black van is KARR. He pulls up to the edge of the enbankment and fires the laser, three times. The laser strikes the passenger side of the KITT, blowing the door almost completely off.
KARR-
"And now for Buffy Summers."
