NEW SUNNYDALE, TITAN - 2516
Angel and Kennedy leds the team through the maze of sewer tunnels until they finally reach an access point. Kennedy goes up first and looks around, they had come up into a small room. The rest follow her. In the center of the room, was the glowing blue sphere...with five vampires with swords guarding it. Charly points to Hargove and Tanner and signals them to guard the entrance to the sewer.
The others quietly approach the vampires, until one of them spots them. He throws a knife and it hits Cooper in the chest and kills her. Charly and Chappelle open fire, while Faith, Angel and Kennedy take out the others with swords.
CHARLY-
"Phelps....how's Cooper?"
PHELPS-
"She's gone."
Faith walks up to the sphere. She take's the small ball and places it in her pocket. Suddenly, an alarm rings out and more vampires show up.
CHARLY-
"FALL BACK!!! INTO THE SEWER!!!" She yells over the gunfire from her rifle. The team makes it back to the sewer entrance, except for Tanner. "Tanner, move your ass." Suddenly, his right eye explodes as the tip of an arrow rips through it. He had been shot in the back of the head with a crossbow. Charly jumps into the hole as crossbow arrow speed by.
CHAPPELLE-
"Major...where's Tanner?"
CHARLY-
"He's dead....get moving!!" The team runs through the sewer tunnel, led by Angel. Suddenly, an arrow hits Washington in the back and he falls. Williams turns around and begins firing.
CHARLY-
"Williams...he's dead. Move!!!"
WILLIAMS-
"You need someone to cover you until you get out of the sewers."
CHARLY-
"Just slow them down, and meet up this us. Don't hang around." Charly, Faith, Angel, Kennedy, and the other troops reach the opening of the sewer and begin to run like hell out of town.
Williams watches as another vampire catches fire and then explodes. He is slowly backing up and firing only when he gets a clear target. Suddenly, an arrow hits him in the stomach, and he goes down. He empties the clip into the tunnel and then grabs a grenade. Fifteen vampires run up to him, and he presses the button.
The team was twenty feet away from the opening when the sewer tunnel exploded and caved in.
CHARLY-
"Carey, contact the ship. Tell Carlin and Murray to get the ship ready. And make sure Grimes is still in his cell."
CAREY-
"Yes, Major."
FAITH-
"So, we got the sphere...we get to the ship, leave and 'Dr. Strangelove' blows this place to hell....right?"
CHARLY-
"Right."
CAREY-
"Major, they're not answering."
CHARLY-
"Let's go. Angel and Kennedy, we guys go ahead and get the survivors. Meet us at the ship." I have a bad feeling about this, Charly thinks as she leds the others back to the ship.
Thirty minutes later, the survivors and the troops stood on the ramp leading into the spacecraft. Charly, Chappelle, and Faith enters first.
CHAPPELLE-
"Hey, guys....guys? Where in the hell...." Phelps and Carey get the passengers in the cargo hold. Angel and Kennedy joins the others on the flight deck.
CHARLY-
"Carlin! Murray! Where are you?" Faith stops and kneels down in face of a storage closet.
FAITH-
"Charly....come take a look."
ANGEL-
"Blood." He was on the otherside of the cabin.
CHAPPELLE-
"How in the fuck did you know that?"
ANGEL-
"I can smell it." Chappelle makes a face. Faith opens the closet and Carlin and Murray fall out. They are both dead. Suddenly, the cockpit door opens and Grimes step up....he is pointing a rifle at them.
GRIMES-
"Do not move!"
