NEW SUNNYDALE, TITAN - 2516
The team with the precision that comes from years of military training. Except for Faith, who was constantly taken pointers from the others. Suddenly, Charly raises her left hand in a fist and the team stops, with Faith almost running into Chappelle. Four vampires round the corner and stop them. Charly and Williams open fire and the sewer tunnel lights up with the shots. The vampires are hit and catch fire and then explode into dust. Suddenly, a vampire jumps behind them and Faith hands her rifle to Chappelle. She runs out and starts hitting him with a rapid series of kicks. She finally does him in with a swipe of the short sword that cuts his head off. The others stare at her.
FAITH-
"What? That's want I do."
CHAPPELLE-
"Sweety....I've been waiting for you my whole life." Faith just grins at him as she takes back her rifle.
The team carries on until they reach a large chamber. In the center were the survivors. Charly and the others carefully approach and encircle them as Phelps checks them out. Faith kneels next to the medic.
FAITH-
"How are they?"
PHELPS-
"In good condition. No feeding....so whoever brought them here made sure they weren't harmed."
WILLIAMS-
"Man, I don't like this. It smells like a trap." Suddenly, a figure stands on a steel beam overlooking the team. They raised their weapons, and the figure brought out two matching swords. Faith suddenly stood up.
FAITH-
"NO!!! DON'T SHOOT!!!!"
CHARLY-
"Faith....."
FAITH-
"No.....KENNEDY?!" The figure lowers the swords and jumps out, and pulls back the hood. Kennedy Summers looked at Faith.
KENNEDY-
"Faith? Is it really you?"
FAITH-
"Yeah....thawed out and everything." They hug tightly, and Charly walks over.
CHARLY-
"So, you're Kennedy Summers. I'm Major Charly Maclay."
FAITH-
"As in Tara." Kennedy looked at Charly, amazed. "Kennedy, is Angel here?" He steps out from the shadows. Faith looks at him, he has changed, long hair. She walks over and notices something else. His forehead was a little bumpy, she brushes the long hair from his ear....they were pointed. His little fingers were starting to merge with his ring fingers. Faith looked safly at her old finger....the transformation had started. She knew when a vampire reaches a certain age, they start to look more like animals. Like Kakistos, and what Buffy told her about The Master.
FAITH-
"When did it start?"
ANGEL-
"About fifty years ago."
FAITH-
"Nobody stays good looking forever."
KENNEDY-
"You did a good job."
FAITH-
"Yeah....espically for a thawed out clone. So, what's the story."
ANGEL-
"We found them soon after the crash and brought them here."
CHARLY-
"Good. We can get them outta here."
ANGEL-
"Sorry, Major. It's bigger than that."
