The Scoobies are watching the video that KITT took of the vampire with an axe. When the video gets done, everyone sits in silence.
GILES-
"So....Willow any mysterious deaths or disapperences laterly?"
WILLOW-
"No, it's been slow....only one two weeks ago. And that girl."
XANDER-
"Well, we know who did that. Psycho vamp."
DAWN-
"He would have gotten me if KITT was built so tough. How come the window didn't break?"
MICHAEL-
"KITT's built from some advanced military armor. Don't ask me to tell you what. Bonnie tried to explain it to me one time...."
Outside Spike is walking up the house. He passes KITT.
KITT-
"Well, if it's not the club welding vampire. How's your conscience?"
SPIKE-
"Shut up, junk heap." He goes inside. Giles is replaying the video, and Spike sees it. He gets a good look at the vampire's face. "Carl?"
GILES-
"Do you know him?"
SPIKE-
"Uh....maybe I could remember with some money."
MICHAEL-
"You're quite the mecenary."
SPIKE-
"I do what I need to do, fancy boy. You know the big hair went out in the '80s."
MICHAEL-
"At least I can get a tan."
SPIKE (mock hurt)-
"Oh...how could you?"
BUFFY-
"Shut up, Spike. Do you know this guy or not?"
SPIKE-
"Yeah, he was a mate of mine once upon a time. I thought he got himself staked, but I guess I was wrong."
Outside, down the street, Warren, Andrew, and Jonathon are looking at KITT through a video camera.
WARREN-
"Look at that....once we have our own car like that, Buffy won't stand a chance."
ANDREW-
"Impressive...most impressive. How's it going, Jonathon?"
JONATHON-
"Just a few more touches and this unit will be installed into the van." Jonathon is working on a CPU with the letter KARR on the case.
