GALATICA
STARBUCK-
"Get me the frak out of here!" Starbuck yells as her Viper is pulled from the launch catapult. Xander and Callie get to work as Starbuck sits, stewing, in the cockpit. Xander finally fixed the problem just as a missile hit the hull shaking the ship.
XANDER-
"She's fixed!!!" They slid Starbuck's fighter into the catalupt and she launches down the tube and out into space.
Spike moves his fighter to dodge an incoming missile. Faith moves behind the Cyclon Raider and fires. Thin green lights pierce through space and the Raider explodes. Suddenly, Starbuck calls over the radio.
STARBUCK-
"ALL VIPERS!! BREAK!! BREAK!!" Faith turns her head just as a nuclear missile hits the Galatica. Inside the ship, Xander and Callie are knocked off their feet as part of the landing bay explodes. Anya's cabinets are knocked off the wall. In CIC, Angel watches as consoles explodes as the force of the nuke rakes the ship.
COLONIAL FLEET 798
Everyone was busy with something, except for Dawn. Roslin noticed that, and she walks over to Buffy.
ROSLIN-
"Buffy....Dawn needs something to do. How about she helps me coordinate the communications."
BUFFY-
"Uh...okay. I'll ask her." She walks over to Dawn, who has been crying since word of the attack. Buffy sits next to her and hugs her. "Dawnie...how are you?"
DAWN-
"How do you think I feel? Home...our home is gone. Our friends back on Caprica are dead...I'm so scaried."
BUFFY-
"I know...so am I. Dawn, Secretary Roslin wants to know if you could help her. You know....be an office aide. It will help." Dawn nods slightly, and gets up and walks over to Roslin's seat.
Tara and Willow are reading about the Cyclons. Willow sets her book down, and looks out the window. She can see something moving fast outside of the ship.
WILLOW-
"Sweety....what is that?" Tara leans over Willow.
TARA-
"Oh, my Goddess....it's a missile!!!"
Suddenly, Apollo's Viper flies into view. The missile starts going after his fighter instead of the passenger ship. The missile explodes as Apollo shoots it, and the two can see Apollo's fighter tumble out of control.
PILOT (OVER THE PA)-
"Everyone, our escort is in trouble. We are diverting our course to pick him up."
