CRYO-STORAGE BASE
CASTILLO
Faith is escorted in handcuffs and under guard towards the briefing room. Charly is in front of the soldiers. Once inside the room, Faith sits down and the handcuffs are removed. As she rubs her wrists, Clement comes in.
CLEMENT-
"Major...why isn't this primitive handcuffed?"
FAITH-
"Excuse me!" Charly lays her hand on Faith's shoulder.
CHARLY-
"She won't give us any problems."
FAITH-
"So, what's with the handcuffs, am I under arrest."
CLEMENT-
"For now. We need you to lead a rescue mission on Titan." Charly shakes her head slightly. "Major, do you have something to say?"
CHARLY-
"Doctor...those people are dead. Sending in a rescue mission would be futile."
CLEMENT-
"One of the freighter's passengers is the son of the President."
FAITH-
"Then send in the military. From what I know is that, the Slayers are gone. You have a cigarette I can borrow."
CLEMENT-
"Smoking is illegal. The cillivan freighter ASTRAL was hit by something....we suspect an asteroid or a chunk of Saturn's rings. The ship was damaged and she landed on Titan. We received a coded message from the ASTRAL just thirty minutes ago."
CHARLY-
"Sir, that means they sent that signal an hour and a half ago. The vamps have probably found them."
CLEMENT-
"The President wants you to go to Titan and see for yourself."
Faith is escorted back to her room. Clement calls the President back in Syndey, Earth.
CLEMENT-
"Mr. President, we are ready."
PRESIDENT-
"Good....first objective, find my son and get him outta of there. Second, find Angel and Kennedy and elimante them. Those two do gooders, going out to help people and then going back to Titan has made them into heroes with some people. They are still vampires. Destroy them, and then we will destroy Titan. Does Major Maclay know about the second objective."
CLEMENT-
"No, sir. Her XO, a Captain Grimes, has been told. Major Maclay's pysc profile, plus her ancestary suggests that she will not go along with the second objective."
PRESIDENT-
"I'm adding a note to the second objective: kill Lehane and Maclay."
CLEMENT-
"Yes, Mr. President."
Faith is sitting on my couch, reading all the information she could find out about her long dead friends. Buffy and Spike got married, had kids, and a nice calm life. Willow and Tara was the same, as the others. Everyone had nice normal lives, and look at her. Four hundred years and millions of miles from home, she is still in the same old shit. Charly comes into the room.
FAITH-
"What's up, girl. You really think that those guys are vamp food."
CHARLY-
"Sure. Hell, the only reason we're going in is for the President's kid."
FAITH-
"So...how long have you been playing soldier?"
CHARLY-
"Since I was 13. You see, everyone at the age of 13 gets to see what they are most suited for. Mine was being a soldier."
FAITH-
"So, no girlfriends...or boyfriends?"
CHARLY-
"No. Never."
FAITH-
"Are you a virgin?" Charly responds by handing Faith a cigarette. "I though this was illegal."
CHARLY-
"Well...I'm too busy to have sex. Need something to do with my hands."
