SATURN SPACE - 2516
The spaceship moves through space with the view of Saturn looming in the background. Down below the ship was Titan, looking a lot different than today. By the time of the 26th century, many moons have been terraformed into livable planets. Titan was now a beautiful brown, blue, and white pearl. Titan was differnt however. Wilson, a brand new employee on the ship, walks up to Captain Lewis.
LEWIS-
"This place makes me nervous."
WILSON-
"Why's that, Captain?"
LEWIS-
"Son, do you know what this done on Titan. Vampires. Ever since, they got their dead asses kicked off the planet, they came here. Killed all the people, and set up their own society."
WILSON-
"What? You mean, there's a whole moon of vampires? Why doesn't the government send in troops, and don't they need blood....."
LEWIS-
"Hey, calm down. The pussy government at the time negotiated with the vampires, so nobody goes there. And you know we have artifical blood now....so do they. Probably doesn't taste the same though. Anyway, with the sunlight only a fractor that it is on the Earth, the vampires found a home."
WILSON-
"Why Titan?"
LEWIS-
"Before the Watcher's Council disbanded, their last report to the Earth Government indicated that there was a Hellmouth on Titan."
As the spacecraft neared the boundry markers for Titan, a tumbling piece of rock that has been traveling through the Solar System at a speed of 17,000 mph was heading straight for the ship. The usless piece of rock hit the ship and destroyed the engine. The ship starts tumbling towards Titan.
LEWIS-
"Mayday, mayday....this is the cillivan freighter ASTRAL. We are going down....Jesus....we're heading into Titan."
CRYO-STORAGE BASE
CASTILLO
Major Charlotte "Charly" Maclay sat at the console, listerning to the ASTRAL last distress signal. 'Titan, I can't believe it. If they survived the crash, the vamps would get them.' Suddenly, the door opens up and Dr. Paul Clement walks in.
CHARLY-
"So, who is the subject? And why should we bother with a rescue mission on Titan?"
CLEMENT-
"First of all, Major. You don't ask why. As far as the subject is, she's a Slayer. She was critical injuried in a autocar accident back on Earth. So, her friends had her frozen until the medical technology was more advanced. That was over four hundred years ago."
CHARLY-
"Four hundred years? Why wasn't she de-frosted before then?"
CLEMENT-
'Well, with the Earth in an ice age for the last two hundred years and the Colonializattion Wars, we were a little busy."
CHARLY-
"Her name?"
CLEMENT-
"Faith Lehane."
