SUNNYDALE CRATER - 2103
SIX MONTHS LATER
Sarah walks through the hallway towards the medical bay. On the way, she stops at looks out the window. Outside, standing in the sun is Spike and Buffy holding hands. After becoming human, Spike and Buffy decided to try to go out again. Spike told Sarah that maybe he could do it right this time.
In the lunch room, Xander his reading a newspaper. Three months ago, he had received a cloned eye. Dawn walks in and sits across from him. He looks a little nervous.
DAWN-
"Look, Xander, you've been trying to avoid me for the past few weeks."
XANDER-
"Avoiding. I haven't been avoiding. It's just....me and you were...."
DAWN-
"Married?"
XANDER-
"Yeah, I mean I don't think that's even legal."
DAWN-
"Xander....Sarah said we were older then. Besides, that was our orginials. It doesn't mean that we would...you know...get together. Look, let's just be friends and pretend that we didn't hear about the whole marriage thing."
XANDER-
"Sounds good."
Sarah walks into the medical lab. Her favorite patient is there. Angel stands up and hugs her. His arms and legs have been replaced by clone parts. His eye, ears, and nose were also replaced and now he looks like the same old Angel.
SARAH-
"Everything working okay."
ANGEL-
"Yeah....good job. Felt a little wierd at first."
SARAH-
"Yeah, that to be expected."
ANGEL-
"So, Spike's human now." Everyone has been dancing around the subject with Angel.
SARAH-
"Yeah. I'm sorry."
ANGEL-
"Don't be. There's other prophecies out there. Maybe one day, I will be human."
SARAH-
"Have you talked to Kennedy?"
ANGEL-
"Yeah."
Faith and Kennedy were sparing in the training room.
FAITH-
"Divorce, huh?"
KENNEDY-
"Yep...he feels so bad about taking advantage. I felt like shit for doing it. So, divorce."
FAITH-
"Still friends?"
KENNEDY-
"Always."
FAITH-
"Good, and now I have some to go out with for Girls Night."
KENNEDY-
"How about tonight?"
FAITH (smiling)-
"Sure. We'll start getting ready, right after I kick your ass."
KENNEDY (laughing)-
"Bring it."
Giles is walking with Willow and Tara outside. The two women are holding hands, and back together again.
GILES-
"So, New York City. What are you going to do there."
WILLOW-
"Sarah got us jobs with a magic research center there."
TARA-
"What about you?"
GILES-
"Oh, I'm going back to England. Sarah told me that my personal banking accounts remained untouched, so I suppose, I'll retire. With no demons, or vampires."
WILLOW-
"Sounds boring."
GILES-
"Sounds like heaven."
Oz is standing in the shadows watching Willow. He hopes she is really happy with Tara. During the last six months, he got to know Tara, and they were friends now. Suddenly, Sarah's arm goes around his waist. She kisses him on the cheek.
SARAH-
"You okay, sweety."
OZ-
"Yeah, she's happy."
SARAH-
"I know she is. And I'm happy too." Sarah couldn't believe that she finally found love in a cloned version of her great grandmother's ex-boyfriend, and biological he was eight years younger.
Buffy kisses Spike as they watch the sunset. Spike and Buffy could finally have the life they wanted together.
