Michael walks over to the counter.
MICHAEL-
"What sort of shop is this?"
DAWN-
"It's a magic shop. You know, like real magic."
MICHAEL-
"Real magic? Look, kid...there's no such thing." Everyone stops and looks at him.
DAWN-
"Okay....first my name is Dawn, not kid. Second, you don't have the slightest clue to what is going on."
MICHAEL-
"I do know that a girl was torn apart."
DAWN-
"Did you know what her blood was drained?"
MICHAEL-
"It's probably the work of a cult. What are you saying...it was a vampire." He starts laughing until he looks at everyone's face. "No body is laughing."
BUFFY-
"Michael, go back to your hotel and in the morning, leave town....we got this."
MICHAEL-
"What do you mean...you got this. The police can't help."
BUFFY-
"We handle what the police can't."
Michael walks out and gets into KITT.
KITT-
"Is everything okay, Michael?"
MICHAEL-
"Yeah, KITT...look....contact Devlin and see if he can run a check on Willow Rosenberg and Buffy Summers? Something strange is going on."
KITT-
"Speaking of strange, I just had a run in with a street thug."
MICHAEL-
"Did you do the old subconscience gag?"
KITT-
"Yes, but Michael...my scanners did not detect any vital signs on him. It could be a malfunction, but my self check turned up normal."
MICHAEL-
"I wouldn't worry about it, KITT. Probably, just a glick. You're not was young as you used to be."
KITT-
"You're one to talk."
