We only get to choose 10? Okay, I’ll try to narrow it down: 10. Angel and Buffy’s first kiss in her bedroom. Those two have so much chemistry together, you can really see how into each other they were. (Best line: “A” doesn’t even stand for Angel for that matter, it’s stands for Achmed, a charming foreign exchange student…) 9. Buffy’s kill in the opening scene of “Prophecy Girl” in slow motion and her smile when the vamp figures out who she is. 8. The Cordelia/ Buffy sequence in When She Was Bad. “You know we never really had a chance to get to know each other which is nice because I never really liked you much, but, you have on occasion saved the world and stuff so...do you a favor.” “And this great favor is?” “I’m going to give you some advice. Get over it.” “Excuse me” “Whatever’s causing the Joan Collins tude…deal with it. Embrace the pain, spank you inner moppet, whatever….” Absolutely classic! 7. The end of “School Hard” where Drusilla comforts Spike. The entire last scene of that episode. “Let’s see what’s on TV...” 6. The entire episode of Passion. Angelus at his worst. 5. The sequence in Becoming Part II, where Spike seeks out Buffy. His speech about vampires. “It’s just tough guy talk. The truth is I like this world…” James Marsters is a master of his craft. 4. Everything Spike does, says, and feels in “Lover’s Walk”. “We killed a homeless man on this bench. You know, he begged for mercy and you know that only made her bite harder!” 3. The sparing scene in “Fool for Love”. The interchanging of the past fight and the present one. “Every slayer has a death wish…all we need is for one of us to have one good day….here endth the lesson.” 2. Bargaining Part One…Xander: “Let apply the brakes and check the rear and side view mirrors here. This is deep stuff Willow. You’re talking about raising the dead. Willow: “I’m done talking.” The whole spell scene and Buffy rising is included in number two. 1. The entire episode of “Conversations With Dead People”. I STILL cannot shake the eerie feeling I get when you first see Joyce on that couch behind Dawn and she doesn’t notice. That’s too damn creepy. Holden telling Buffy “I understand you were in your own little world, all CHOSEN and destiny….” I forget the actual line offhand but almost every speech he gives her is hilarious and heartbreaking. That’s my top 10. And now I am going to cheat a little and give you some “close calls” -Buffy and Spike's first time in Smashed -When Buffy walks down the stairs and Spike realizes she's alive again and they just stare at each other, and the whole "how long was I gone" speech -Dracula to Xander "You are strange and off putting" That's it!
