SUNNYDALE CRATER - 2103
Sarah and Tara are sitting cross legged in her room, performing a locator spell. Sarah wants to know when everyone one is. Sarah places a map on the floor, and different colored dots begin to appear on the map.
TARA-
"Okay....the r.red dots are us, the yellow dots are humans, and the blue dots are souled vampires."
SARAH-
"Shiny."
TARA-
"What's shiny?" She is staring at the map trying to find the shiny parts.
SARAH-
"No....it means 'cool'."
TARA-
"Oh."
SARAH-
"Tara, the blue dots are for souled vampires. What about regular vampires?"
TARA-
"I d.didn't think to do that one. I assume t.that all the vampires here have souls."
SARAH-
"Yeah....but there are only two blue dots. Who are they?"
TARA-
"Spike and Kennedy."
SARAH-
"Where's Angel?"
TARA-
"M.maybe he left the base."
SARAH-
"No...this project was too important. Stay here, I'm going to find him."
Spike swipes his card and the door to Buffy's room opens.
SPIKE-
"Can I come in?"
BUFFY-
"Sure...you're invited. So....we had kids together?"
SPIKE-
"Yeah."
BUFFY-
"You can stop talking to me like I'm an actual person. I know what kind of thing I am." Spike walks up and kisses Buffy.
SPIKE-
"You're just as real as you were those years ago."
BUFFY-
"I'm just a clone."
SPIKE-
"NO!....You're Buffy. I don't give a damn how you got here.....but you are Buffy." They kiss, and for the first time in a long while....Spike has happy.
Sarah spots Angel in the Clone Control Room. He sees her as she enters.
ANGELUS-
"Sarah....I was wondering if you could explain this last procedure? It seems another clone was created without my permission." Sarah walks to a position where a computer terminal was between her and Angelus.
SARAH-
"I don't know, Angelus. Maybe somebody was doing some research."
ANGELUS-
"No, I would have...." He stops, reliazing his mistake. The souled Angel would have objected immediantly to the name Angelus, but he didn't. "Oh, you sneaky little bitch." He vamps out and starts to walk slowly towards Sarah. She starts backing away, terrified. She had read about Angelus, and all of the things he had done in the past....those images began to flash in her mind. He approached her, as her hand went underneath a desk. He almost had his hands on her neck when she whips out a mace can and sprays him. She runs for her life.
