SUNNYDALE CRATER - 2103
Xander rubs his face and looks into Sarah's eyes. This was going a little better than it did with Buffy.
XANDER-
"So....I have a great grandson....and I'm a clone. I'm not Xander."
SARAH-
"You are Xander Harris....just not the first one. You have all the physical and mental attributes of Alexander Lavelle Harris."
XANDER-
"But that Xander is dead...right."
SARAH-
"Right...the first Xander dies in 2066 in his sleep."
XANDER-
"So, he made it....he lived through all that." He touched his eye patch.
SARAH-
"We can fix that."
XANDER-
"Really. Cool. Where is my great grandson?
SARAH-
"He wanted to be here, but he was just sentenced to five years in prison for drinking and flying...Uh....you okay?"
XANDER-
"Yeah, it's a lot to take in. Does anyone else know?"
SARAH-
"I told Buffy...she took it pretty hard. One of her daughter's died in a Spaceliner crash, and her other daughter is a vampire with a soul who is married to An..." She stops herself, but it was too late.
XANDER-
"Son of a bitch! I knew that Dead Boy was a bad thing. He actually married Buffy's daughter?"
SARAH-
"Yeah...Buffy doesn't know that part."
XANDER-
"Why didn't you tell her?"
SARAH-
"That's Angel's job. Okay, we done here....after I have told everyone and things get settled down, we see you guys in a group and Angel can explain things." Sarah watches Xander leave the room. 'Wow, he really is cute.'
The next interview was with Rupert Giles. She was actually excited about meeting him, he has been Sarah's personel hero for a long time. She introduces herself and then explains the situation. He just sits there and listens. It was after she was done did he respond.
GILES-
"Angel had no right to do this. Despite all of your scientic research...it's against all the laws of natural passing. Why have you done this?"
SARAH-
"All I know is that Angel, Spike, and Kennedy need help defeating St. Vigerous."
GILES-
"St. Vigerous...oh dear Lord."
SARAH-
"Yeah."
GILES-
"Aren't there Slayers in this time?" Why haven't I thought of that before? Sarah thinks.
SARAH-
"Yeah....yeah, we do. Why all this then?"
GILES-
"You really don't know do you?"
SARAH-
"No...but I'll find out."
GILES-
"Not yet. Finish your interviews and we'll talk about this during the big group meeting." Giles leaves the room. 'More questions and no answers,' Sarah thinks.
